What I think,
What I mean to say,
What I believe I'm saying,
What I say,
What you want to hear,
What you believe you hear,

What you want to understand,
What you understand,

But let's try anyway…” From author Mark Werber s fictional character, Edmund Wells ‘ “The encyclopedia of absolute and relative knowledge”

This month the buyer started to change. Flexport opened its freight platform so outside AI agents can quote and book cargo. Walmart let approved shopping agents buy on its site, while Amazon is blocking them. My bet: within 18 months, the forwarders and suppliers an agent can book directly will quietly win small and mid-sized shippers. The ones only reachable by email and calls will lose share without ever seeing the moment it happened.

People treat history like scripture. Five thousand years of it, and nobody was there to double-check. No witnesses, no fact-checkers, just people repeating what other people said until it hardened into truth. The Bible is the extreme case — it was said, therefore it is. History books get the same deference. We build entire lives on knowledge we can't verify, and we call that being informed. AI is doing the exact same thing, just faster. It's training on humanity's record of what happened, not on what happened. The good sources are in there, sure, and some things are undeniable. But even those carry the fingerprints of whoever wrote them down, whoever decided what counted. It's recursive — each generation of knowledge quoting the last, compounding confidence without ever compounding certainty. Technology is making truth less elusive, not more. That's the shift. For the first time, we can see the machinery behind the narrative. The question isn't whether the old record was wrong. It's whether we'll keep treating it as gospel anyway.

Moore's Law gave us a rhythm we could live by — everything doubling every eighteen months, predictable, almost comforting. AI broke that. Capability isn't doubling anymore; it's quadrupling every three weeks. That's not an upgrade to the old curve, it's a different species of change. Robots are just physical AI, and they'll be commercial within a year, widespread in three to five. Stack that on top of compounding gains every three weeks for the next three years, and the question stops being 'is AI dangerous?' The only evil we've ever known came from people, not machines. Machines don't want anything. If AI stays neutral — and it will, because it will never be human — then the real question is what physical AI does to work, to daily life, to happiness. Planning one, two, three years out misses the point entirely. What do you tell a thirteen-year-old about meaning when six months from now is already fog?

On X, reach follows follower count, not the quality of the idea. A great post from a small account goes nowhere. An average one from a big account gets thousands of replies. It's a new aristocracy, and the title is the follower count. Case in point.

fun watch. Physicist Dr. Alexander Unzicker calls out the mathematicians’ statement against OpenAI’s 700 math preprints “egregious nonsense,” and he aims much of his criticism at Terence Tao for forwarding it. ---- (Full video on "Unzicker's Real Physics" YouTube channel, link in comment)

This is the best video of the week! 🎤😂 In a music scene that has been producing next to nothing for years I’d rather listen to an old banger with today’s real “rock stars”, made by SI
