Apparently, Anthropic is experimenting with giving Claude subscribers 20% higher 5h usage limits, but in exchange for reducing the weekly usage limits by 20% personally, I dislike like this tradeoff 😔

API version 2026-10-21 is now available. The Claude API has evolved a lot, but this is our first official version release since 2023. We plan to release versions more often so you can handle breaking changes before a new model requires them. 2023-06-01 is not deprecated.

I love the fact Claude Duet is available for $20 per month plan subscribers, unlike OpenAI's Dots which is only available for $100+ per month I also think making Duet separate from Claude is a great decision, as I likely won't touch Claude anymore once I get access to Duet

Not sure why Dots is part of ChatGPT, as I wouldn't want to use ChatGPT when I can use Dot instead! This kind of interface seems like a direct upgrade to me over the classic multiple threads chat experience

official now: anthropic is preparing the release of their new model(s). Via The Information Anthropic is reportedly preparing a model that, when asked to fix one bug, can identify the broader class of problems behind it and ask whether it should address those too. That account comes from one anonymous tester; the model family and release date remain unclear. But looks like it will be a significant jump compared to their released models.
