From Spurs heartbreak to Ballon d’Or glory Kane didn’t just wait for trophies, he outlasted the narrative. Persistence rarely looks this elegant.

THE MOTHER WHO SOLD HER OWN DAUGHTER TO THE FOREST 🌳😱
Long ago, in a powerful village, there lived a woman who had two beautiful daughters. The firstborn was kind, humble, and hardworking. Unknown to her mother, the gods had destined her to become the future queen of the kingdom.
One day, the king announced that he wanted to marry a woman with a pure heart who would bring peace and prosperity to his people. When he saw the firstborn daughter, he was amazed by her beauty, wisdom, and kindness. He declared that she would be considered among the women worthy of becoming his queen.
But instead of celebrating her daughter, the mother became jealous. She wanted her younger daughter to become the king’s wife so that the entire family could enjoy wealth and honour.
One night, the mother made a terrible decision. She secretly took her firstborn daughter deep into the forbidden forest and abandoned her there, believing that wild animals and evil spirits would kill her. She thought that once the girl disappeared, her younger daughter would have a clear path to the throne.
But the mother did not know that the destiny she was trying to destroy was protected by God.
Alone in the forest, the young girl cried and prayed for help. As darkness covered the trees, strange sounds echoed around her, but no animal attacked her. She found shelter beneath a large tree and survived by drinking clean water from a nearby stream and eating fruits.
For days, the villagers searched for her, but nobody knew where she was. Meanwhile, her mother pretended to be heartbroken, secretly believing that her plan had succeeded.
Then something extraordinary happened.
A group of royal hunters entered the forest and discovered the missing girl alive, without a single injury. They were shocked because the forest was known as a place from which few people returned.
They took her straight to the palace. When the king saw her, he was overjoyed. He listened to her story and discovered the wicked act her own mother had committed.
The king ordered an investigation, and the truth came out before the entire village. The mother’s secret was exposed, and the younger daughter learned that her own mother had tried to destroy her sister simply to make her queen.
But destiny could not be stolen.
The king recognised the firstborn’s courage, kindness, and strength. In time, she became his queen, while her mother watched the very plan she had created for her younger daughter fall apart.
The woman had sent her daughter into the forest hoping she would never return, but God brought her back stronger and protected her destiny.
**THE LESSON:** Never destroy another person because you want their place. Jealousy can make you lose the very thing you are fighting to obtain. What God has destined for someone cannot be taken away by wicked plans.

I don’t know if this happens in other families, but I really needed to talk about this.
I have this one aunty who is not supportive, yet she keeps calling every time just to tell you about one bad or terrible dream she claims to have had about you.
My cousin recently got married traditionally, and it wasn’t even up to three days after the marriage that she called to tell us about another bad dream she had.
I had to call my mum to warn her about it because I honestly don’t want that kind of negativity around me or my family.
I believe in positivity, peace of mind, and good energy, not fear. Not every dream needs to be shared, especially when all it does is create anxiety and fear in people’s hearts.
Sometimes, protecting your peace means setting boundaries, even with family.
