For the downgrading, I'd need a copy of the avatar suitable to run on Quest 2. This would mean removing shaders, toning down the pyramids, removing any additional unnecessary scripts, just turning it into a straightforward bare-bones version of the above customised avatar.

So no, chuds, @bioware did not and was not "retconning" the Asari to use pronouns because they were going "woke". Liara explains to Shepard in the OG Mass Effect that she is "not precisely a woman". When she and other asari use feminine pronouns like "she" and "her," they do so primarily as an efficient means to ease communication and bridge the linguistic gap with gender-binary species (like humans, turians, and salarians) who rely heavily on those concepts.
But you're nothing but LARPers and tourists who have never ACTUALLY played any of the Mass Effect games, and just want to continue your diatribe about how "go woke, go broke".
The writers of Rings of Power did not read Tolkien.

The Númenóreans didn't refer to Sauron as a god until right before Númenor was drowned in the sea.

I can finally talk about Mass Effect Universe.
Since Bioware closed I can now reveal that I was part of the Mass Effect Council, saw what BioWare was building, and provided feedback during development.

From what I saw, BioWare was making Mass Effect for us, the fans, not for people who don't exist.
It looked incredible.

There are many reasons the American comic book industry is struggling, and it's really worth looking at the reasons why, because they're not simple. A lot of it is due to the a combination of working on outdated systems of production, and widescale flaws with distribution.
The American comic book industry is literally on life support and people are whining about pirate sites... if you want to read comics, BUY them... you're not entitled to the work of others for free.
There are plenty of legit ways to get your hands on comics without having to steal access, because real fans have been doing it for almost a century.
If you live in a country where its not possible to legitimately obtain them, then I get it... but the rest of you sound so incredibly entitled and are a big part of the reason this industry is dying the slow drawn out death of a 1000 cuts...
Scripted improv is not improv.
It's also what killed Whose Line Is It Anyway once it reached America. Fucking scripting it. Nobody wants that shit. Improvisation is a skill people need to develop. When it's scripted, it's not got any talent behind it.
I for one cannot wait to see the Galadriel-Celeborn-Sauron love triangle. It's going to be so exciting. Will she go with Team Jacob or Team Edward?

There are literally thousands of players who you do not need to 'force' to play classic OSR D&D, they're more than happy to do it.
If your friends have to be 'forced' to do it, your friends are shit gamers. Actual gamers love to try out and embrace new things.
