Firo integration showing excellent progress, real shot at first external chain completing integration standards.

Machina contracts and SDK repo are now public:

Watcher operators, we kindly request you to update your watcher-service to version [6.2.0](github.com/rosen-bridge/watc…).
This version fixes a minor security bug and you should unlock all of your permits and collateral via the action section in your watcher dashboard and wait for all permits to be unlocked. DO NOT UPDATE YOUR WATCHER BEFORE UNLOCKING YOUR COLLATERAL.
‼️Make sure to follow the instruction for this update. Without following the instruction, your watcher will certainly miss all events onward and receive no reward. ‼️
## 1. Unlock your permits and collateral
Head to Watcher Dashboard -> Unlock, set the Api-key and unlock all of your RSN. Wait till the transaction is mined.
Then dashboard will show 0/0 _Total Locked RSN_ and 0/0 _Total Reports_ and the health will be broken (due to `No WID is available for this address`).
> Note that you need at least 2 WIDs to unlock your permits and collateral!
## 2. Update your watcher
Pull the latest docker image, stop and then start your watcher:
- docker compose pull
- docker compose down
- docker compose up -d
## 3. Lock your permits
Head again to Watcher Dashboard -> Lock, set the Api-key and lock your RSN. Wait till the transaction is mined.
Then dashboard should show the _Total Locked RSN_ and _Total Reports_ correctly and watcher should be healthy.
> Note that the transaction should be displayed in the explorer after ~5 minutes!
> In case you get Error code 400, just try again after ~30 minutes!

- Fixed stratum bug causing job ids to not increment properly
Machina Finance has been an idea/work in progress for idk 3+ years.
The broad consensus around UTXO defi is that it kind of sucks compared to the account model.
This thought does have some merit, but to be concise imitating and emulating the account model on eUTXO kind of sucks.
Many things try to be a copy of a copy of a copy. The next (insert popular project)(insert different chain name).
As open stack from the chain up built specifically for Ergo, to challenge that belief and do our own thing. Leave something behind to play with and build on.
Start with no third party batchers. Replace this with client side batching in the wallet.
Built on a new mempool aware, real-time UTXO streaming layer.
Add local logic. Every order is its own atomic contract.
Grid based strategies both auto compounding and cumulative. Supporting Ergo and all the tokens on Ergo.
Built for composability across Ergo protocols.
Every box can be an order and the chain state can be the book.
Open source code, fully auditable, clone able, fork around and find out.
It has no fees, no token. I hope to not see knockoff scam tokens but crypto does have a parasitic class of users around. So please beware.
It's a public good. Each peer has local control.
We will make the repository public soon. Hopefully next week.

We received a grant from @Catalyst_onX to bridge runes @RosenBridge_erg .
Got distracted for a while as an additional extension beyond the grant was possible.
Fell behind the initial milestones but in the end will deliver something unique.
ADA is now a Rune+ on BTC L1.
Finalizing the rollout plans now.

You can spam ergo because state bloat will not be an issue. It recycles dead utxo’s, the utxo set cleans itself of economic waste, which pays miners in the end.
A lot of chains will basically be garbage collectors and dust bins over a long enough timeline.

Run the numbers.
Unfortunately from trust-the-math cryptocurrencies movement we got to trust-me-bro "crypto", which unsurprisingly is not looking so great.
Value distribution matters perhaps just as much as block distribution as one subsidizes the other through time.
I used to mine more than I am able to these days. back before premines were even a thing... But chains then were more or less dumb chains with no programmable logic.
It took 73 days after launch for the miners to mine a net total of coins higher than the Ergo Foundation's allocation for development. This is a good metric for understanding the power of the premine.
With larger and larger premines in the Proof of Work cryptocurrency space, this is a really basic metric that puts premined allocations and the costs/value and time miners are subsidizing into perspective.
Pie charts for emissions do not give this justice when the emission period can be 100+ years.
Run this basic calculation and see how much time and energy various proof of work projects are subsidizing for development.
Development is not free as it takes time, energy, skill, and a little bit of luck too...
But there probably should be some balance.
Clear assumptions and all that... Take a look yourself.

Companies, foundations, vc rug scamchains here will inevitably die. Movements, ideas, uncontrollable assets will survive.

Infrastructure companies are the new middlemen.
A lot will be possible with an indexed node, hergmes, + dapp integration framework.
Run transactions, batch off chain, execute trades, verify and build locally as a peer.

If incidents with a single service provider creates issues for a “decentralized network” imagine if there was ever a coordinated effort.
Build to be survivable. Build for war.

Working on a better solution for handling Runes+ fee in UI.
Then more Runes+ testing will get started. @RosenBridge_erg
Runes+ is getting closer to landing on Bitcoin L1.
