The Supreme Court sided with FWS. But it didn’t hear from a single trans person.
This ruling sets a dangerous precedent and erases trans women from protections. It puts trans rights back 20 years.
We won't stop fighting for trans rights 🏳️⚧️
Me, the entirety of this week: I have @bbnomula stuck in my head and idk why.
Also me:
Happy New Year! 🥳 I’ve had a pretty encouraging 2024, even if plans for new music fell through. I’ve played really rewarding gigs, been featured on @BBCUpload (multiple times!), worked with amazing musicians and songwriters, and cultivated a truly lovely and supportive audience.
Here’s to 2025, which will hopefully bring even more of the above - as well as the aforementioned new music!
I'll be kicking off the New Year with another BBC feature, as the Upload Showcase recorded last year will be airing on @BBCRadioScot tomorrow from 6-7am~
(can be found on @BBCSounds afterwards for all those who, like me, will absolutely be asleep at that time of the morning 🤣). Tune in to hear an interview with yours truly, as well as my newest song: Aye, I Know.

Xaphan's protagonist monologue in the newest episode of @bvmpod goes SO hard, and picturing her delivering it whilst restraining an angry Belz has easily tipped it into one of my fav moments from the show.
Hearing how @IBexWeBex has been cannonically introduced as the voice of "Nisroch" for season 2 of @bvmpod has actually sent me... This might be my new fav bit 🤣
Oh damn, ask and ye shall receive! We just hit 10% of our igg goal! And that means: ANNOUNCEMENT TIME. This season, stepping in for the role of Misroch, we have none other than the chaos goblin themselves, @IBexWeBex!

while haiti is in the news so much this week maybe we should all take a moment to discuss the fact that their economic destitution is entirely due to being forced to spend ~80% of their federal budget every year for 150 years on reparations to france for freeing the slaves
Medusa is being played on Hidden Harmonies on @cragsradio tonight~ 🐍
The show runs from 7-9pm and you can listen live here: cragsradio.co.uk/

"The male gaze" "queerbaiting" etc are meant to be terms for analysing visual media and literature and people have taken and twisted them to apply them to real life in a way of disguising their reductive heternormative viewpoints in this essay i will-

I met with a group of teenagers yesterday. One of their teachers had suggested that I talk to them about career paths because they're all anxious about exams, university choices and future work.
Instead of talking to them, I listened, and the actual problem was very different.

I'm being featured on BBC Radio Scotland on The Afternoon Show! But instead of just having a song played, Anna Welander is bringing Upload on the Road to me for a live performance and interview 🥳

Six trans and nonbinary young people sat down with Daniel Radcliffe in a candid and heartfelt conversation about their journeys and what genuine allyship looks like.
