“I would put Mendoza out there, [Raiders] took him number 1 for a reason!” -James Jones, former #Raiders receiver and Football Analyst. Jones tells it like it is 🏴☠️👇
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again Drew Mestemaker is a better pure thrower of the football than 95% of the current NFL quarterbacks including Josh Allen. An arm like Dan Marino’s with John Elway mobility!
Rob Leonard has been an NFL assistant for 14 seasons. That was his learning on the job experience. He’s now a Defensive Coordinator which there is no learning curve. He’s 1 level below Head Coach for Pete sakes! You either do the job or you’re not! It’s that simple. Just not cutting the mustard! @Raiders do better! Where’s the Commitment to Excellence?
The biggest reason I didn't want Rob Leonard was because I felt it's a gamble on a DC who has not done it before. Right now, it isn't really working out. But I dont think the #Raiders should fire him. I would give him the rest of the year, and depending on how it goes, maybe one offseason to get it right.
He’s right the time is now! #Raiders protecting Mendoza might just be hindering his development.
Tell me why Jermod McCoy played zero defensive snaps against the Rams with that defensive shit show the #Raiders put on display!! Whose making all these boneheaded decisions? Kubiak or Leonard? This is like Pete Carroll all over again!!
Eagles DT Jalen Carter when he’s locked in is pretty much unstoppable! I still can’t believe the #Raiders passed on him in the 2023 NFL Draft.
The Seattle Seahawks held Chiefs RB Kenneth Walker to just 36 yards tonight and held QB Patrick Mahomes to just 165 yds passing. Absolute domination!! I’m tired of the #Raiders hiring defensive coordinators based on players likability. Pillage one from Minnesota or Seattle and let’s finally get this defense right!!! 🏴☠️ @Raiders you can’t keep ignoring this.
The entire @Raiders defense including DC Rob Leonard could learn a lot and I mean a lot from how the Seattle Seahawks played defense tonight. This is how defense is supposed to be played!
#RaiderNation is Rob Leonard the right guy to lead the #Raiders defense? Have you seen enough to know?
Thurman Thomas deserves his own statue in front of Boone Pickens! It's entirely way overdue! Thomas is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame for crying out loud. It's time for @okstate @OSUAthletics to properly honor this man! Get it done!
Linebacker depth is a problem for the #Raiders. Big drop off after Walker and Dean!
I want to see Roman Hemby @Raiders! He should be the RB3 and contributing. Hemby is the 1 back on the roster who patiently sets up his blocks in front of him then accelerates through the crease/hole. You want to pound that rock, then get Hemby going!!! #Raiders let’s get with it.
OK State Wide Receiver Justin Bowick has the size/speed the @Raiders are looking for! Do not sleep on him! A bit raw but has all the traits to become the next DK Metcalf! #Raiders 👀
Michael Mayer has turned out to be a real weapon under #Raiders HC Klint Kubiak and continues to "Do it All" Love this guy! 🏴☠️👇
The Raiders extended Michael Mayer despite limited career receiving output behind Brock Bowers.
They didn’t need to see production. Plenty of examples proved Mayer worthy to a new staff this summer. They’ve been rewarded with a breakout season for the TE.
