Building a mine has never been cheap — especially a copper mine.
As easily accessible resources continue to deplete, environmental requirements become more stringent, and equipment and labour costs continue to rise, so does the price of building a copper mine.
Sometimes, to get copper out of the ground, it’s more about the location of the asset than the asset itself.
