October is #BreastCancer Awareness Month
One of our own Valkyries, @Whoswhonm2u, was officially confirmed to be cancer free on October 4th.
She's still here, still with us, still fighting for Valko alongside every one of you.
She's asked us to support the organization that matters to her: Susan G. Komen, which funds breast cancer research, patient support, and access to care.
Let's show her what this community can do. Any amount, given in her honor:

And, if you haven’t had one recently, go get screened! 🩷

TLDR: The real ones fight Papergames, not fellow fans, she told fellow fans, for a full minute, while calling us cowards for skipping the illegal stuff 🤡

for any non-english speakers reading this who don't know: "FAFO" means "fuck around and find out" aka "your actions will have consequences"
Here is the full translation of the recent legal article posted by PPG’s legal account.
To summarize, they are basically showing people that they are firm believers of FAFO.
Some person, Zhao, tested the FAFO hypothesis by leaking IN assets back in 2024.
Zhao had to pay 1mill yuan in damages.
Zhao paid more for a dress up game’s leak than I've paid for every car I've ever owned combined, and my cars at least got me somewhere.
Anyway, they also made mention that had disputes going on with two unnamed tech companies and sued them for TM infringement and unfair competition. They basically won, the tech companies tried to counter sue and they all withdrew their suits in the end.
Pay attention to this tho:
They explicitly stated that legal procedures have ALSO been initiated concerning game leaks and various forms of infringement involving ALL products under Paper Games, and that the results of these enforcement actions will be disclosed at an appropriate time.
Mmmm I’d take that as a warning/heads up lol

Here, I believe this is the most direct proof we have of their literary foil.
Rafayel thinks people miss beauty out of habit and inattention.
So the foil to this would be thinking that humans are actually limited/lack the ability to properly interpret this. (IE, not having the senses to do so.)
And wouldn't you know, it seems like this is something Valko believes.
Anyway, @Love_Deepspace please listen to your real fans.

A magnificent animated artwork brought to life by @PencintaApelll ❤️🔥
Can CN players or people who play the native version tell if they picked up on the LI's voices sounding off in the BladeRunner collab trailer?
I'm trying to see something.
Even their weapon of choice foil each other lololol
Raf: Dagger, small, fast.
Valko: BIG ASS CLAYMORE
At the end of the day, they both are blades, but contrast each other.
Valko as Raf’s foil.
Foil does not mean antagonist.
Foils can share a ton of similarities while possessing contrasting characteristics that bring certain aspects of the other character into sharper focus.
Here is how the creative team is setting up the symbolic contrast:
1. Occupation: Artist vs. EonCore Chairman
2. Character Archetype: God vs. Hacker/Scientist
3. Thematic Domain: Divinity/Mythology vs. Science/Technology
4. Mythological Identity: Mermaid/Lemurian vs. Werewolf
5. Natural Association: Ocean vs. Forest
6. Animal Symbolism: Fish vs. Wolf
But let’s dive even further.
Both characters are associated with mythological beings, strong connections to nature, and appear to explore philosophical questions concerning human perception, identity, and connection.
They approach those themes from different perspectives.
Rafayel:
A literal god, says that naming something is what makes it special and binds two beings together and his stories keep returning to naming, identity, devotion and belonging.
Valko:
A STEM guy who questions the limitations of human sensory perception (“Humans have five senses… yet they sense such a narrow world.”), while simultaneously being a werewolf whose attraction to MC is heavily associated with her scent.
He even describes their relationship as a sort of “you’re mine” dynamic.
Are you seeing the potential literary foil yet?
They’re exploring the same underlying philosophical questions through contrasting frameworks.
Symbolic/relational vs instinct. Devotion vs. desire. Chosen vs. driven.
Almost like… their archetypes are ways to also show and represent the contrasting frameworks.
The same underlying philosophical concerns, approached through contrasting forms of connection.
Bruh 😭😭😭
It so fun interpreting everything Raf has said in this collab through full blown self awareness hahaha
Actually, I changed my mind. I shouldn't have to explain why periwinkle is... periwinkle. LMAO.
Each character has an established color identity, and those colors are reflected in their respective calendar tabs. The shades don't have to be identical to represent the same character. Slight variations in hue, saturation, and brightness are completely normal in visual design.
The point is that the same pattern holds across all six characters, including Valko in September. 👍
So look, I just went through all the boy's memos, compared the corresponding Plushie Calendar colors to the memo colors, and every single one of them had an almost 1 for 1 identical hue match.
So by them doing Valko's color in September, that should be fucking massive proof that they haven't given up on him.
I will make a video on it soon.
