ALT Our original animated/game series, Cante Diary’s, and all of Cante game series prounciation of "Cante" will now be changed from Lakota's Chun-tay, meaning "Heart," to Kahn-teh, as in "Sing" in Spanish. This change is to avoid appropriating the Lakota language and the Lakota people, Following the departure of our Lakota staff, we lost the right to use that prounciation, but Spanish Cante is a suitable replacement, as a major language, Spanish has no appropriation risk. This change will allow us greater staffing flexibility in the future. We will be proceeding to change our announcement videos, requesting and paying for retakes, and recast 2 female First Nation inspired characters, and finding a new consultant from the First Nation.
