A man found himself in a desperate situation when his sister was stabbed and urgently needed medical attention. After waiting for an ambulance that was taking too long to arrive, he decided to take matters into his own hands by stopping a minibus taxi and asking the driver to transport them to the entrance of a nearby public hospital.
Unfortunately, the man did not have any cash on him at the time. He explained his situation to the driver and assured him that he would withdraw the money and pay as soon as the medical staff had rushed his sister into the trauma unit.
However, the driver reportedly changed his mind and indicated that he would not continue the journey without receiving cash upfront. Despite the man's desperate pleas and even his offer to pay R1,000 for the trip, the driver refused to take them directly to the hospital and instead stopped at a nearby filling station.
With his sister still seriously injured and helpless inside the minibus, the man had no choice but to leave her there temporarily while he rushed to the nearest ATM to withdraw cash.
I felt this was an important incident to share, particularly at a time when several cities in South Africa are moving towards embracing a cashless economy.
Although banks and financial institutions have made significant progress in providing convenient digital payment solutions, including instant EFTs and other electronic payment methods, a considerable portion of our population still relies heavily on cash transactions.
The most heartbreaking aspect of this incident is that an urgent attempt to save a human life was delayed because of money.💔

When you listen to Professor Teffo you would realise how deep in sh*t the ANC put us. It is clear most of this political parties ate the wrong money. He raised something very important. Something that I once asked myself and I am sure most of you also did ask yourselves.
Remember the 30th June deadline? Some of the foreigners from most of the countries left except Somalians, Bangladeshians, Ethiopians. It makes sense that they are funding some of this political parties and that is why they are protecting and speaking for them.
Shame on this political parties for sacrificing their people for their own selfish reasons.

DJ Sbu faces R15.9 million tax headache after SARS court victory
Media personality and businessman DJ Sbu is facing a tax bill of almost R16 million after the South African Revenue Service (SARS) reportedly obtained a default judgment against him at the Johannesburg High Court.
The development follows SARS issuing a final letter of demand to the Mo Faya energy drink founder on 25 June 2026, seeking payment of R15.7 million.
The amount is believed to have increased by approximately R200 000 by the time the revenue service secured the judgment about two weeks ago.
According to Africa Daily, which reported on the court judgment, the outstanding debt comprises more than R8.2 million in unpaid personal income tax, over R7.6 million in interest and R60 500 in administrative penalties.
DJ Sbu, whose real name is Arthur Sibusiso Leope, was reportedly given 10 business days to settle the amount or explore available debt-relief options. These included negotiating an instalment payment arrangement, applying for suspension of payment while disputing the assessment, or requesting a compromise on part of the debt.
SARS also warned that failure to address the outstanding amount could result in further recovery measures, including approaching third parties holding money on his behalf and obtaining a warrant allowing the sheriff to attach and sell his assets.
Interest would continue accumulating on the outstanding debt.

[TIKTOKER ARRESTED FOR CRIMEN INJURIA AND INCITING VIOLENCE]
Police in KwaZulu-Natal have arrested a 38 year old man for crimen injuria and inciting violence on Sunday afternoon, 1 November 2026.
The suspect posted a video on his TikTok account insulting KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi and inciting people to commit violence.
After realising that the suspect's TikTok rant contained criminal elements of crime injuria and incitement of violence, the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Task Team opened a case for investigation. The suspect was traced and found at Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu where he was arrested.
He will appear in the Durban Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 2 November 2026.

IRGC ground force has announced the destruction of a two-person team working for a foreign intelligence agency in western Iran.
During the operation, IRGC Ground Force seized 10 AK-47 assault rifles, 5,000 rounds of ammunition and 10 Starlink devices.
A similar operation was recently carried out in Iran where IRGC intelligence forces arrested individuals attempting to smuggle weapons and Starlink devices into the country.
In recent months, efforts to arm operatives inside Iran have increased.
