The study analyzed over 17.1 MILLION posts and comments across X, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. • Argentina received more online hate than any other national team, followed by England, Spain, Brazil and Norway. • Most of the abuse directed at Argentina involved accusations of favorable refereeing decisions and xenophobic attacks. • Argentine players were the fourth most targeted individually, behind players from France, England and Portugal. • Argentina was also among the main targets of xenophobic abuse, alongside South Africa and England.
