So lets clarify something. Pokemon or not, 99.99% of all devs/software engineers are using AI to code. That is simply the norm, if you work professionally it is required Using AI to develop is not inherently bad or good. The issue is before it was a barrier of entry that made it so anyone who wanted to create a project needed to invest a lot of time learning that naturally leads to them caring and making a better product Now that barrier is removed and anyone can make a ROM hack or app etc. All that means is you need to filter the slop more frequently than you had to before The best ROM hacks going forward WILL use AI (not talking about generative assets, just code). But they will also be made my people who care just like the best hacks from before
