3–4 years ago, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) was all the rage.
Companies were aggressively offering credit lines with minimal documentation. But there were also plenty of dark patterns, hidden fees, and interest charges.
Many people ended up in debt traps and damaged their credit scores through reckless usage.
Personally, I had multiple BNPL credit lines, but my experience was quite different.
These unsecured credit lines actually helped me build my credit score. I used them judiciously, paid on time, and eventually closed them once I started getting proper credit cards.

Would love to hear your honest experience. Has it actually improved your productivity or changed the way you use your phone?
Or do you regret buying it and wish you’d stuck with a regular smartphone?

I’ve never really understood foldable phones and their actual use case beyond looking cool.
What exactly do they offer over a regular smartphone?
Personally, I’d rather use a proper smartphone and get an iPad if I need a bigger screen. Foldables feel unnecessarily thick in the hand, and I especially don’t understand the passport-sized form factor.
At least the taller form factor of Samsung’s Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra feels much more natural and practical to use.
And to those spending nearly ₹3 lakh on the iPhone Duo, I’m genuinely curious. Are you guys actually planning to use these phones daily? How practical are they?
If I were spending that kind of money, I’d rather wait for the second or third generation until the initial issues are ironed out.
Just look at how Samsung’s Galaxy Fold series has evolved. The early generations had so many issues, but over the years, the hardware and overall experience have become significantly more polished.
I feel foldables still have a long way to go before they become genuinely practical replacements for regular smartphones.
Maybe I’m missing something here, but I’d genuinely love to hear from people who use foldables daily.
