On 21 September, @ChineseSomalia held a reception to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
Met with H.E.@Amohamednur. We had a fruitful discussion on further developing the deep-rooted friendship. Ready to work closely to strengthen exchanges of the legislative bodies and pragmatic cooperation between our two countries.
It was a pleasure to welcome H.E. Wang Yu, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Somalia, to my office today.
I greatly value the longstanding friendship between Somalia and China—a relationship built over decades on mutual respect, trust, and shared interests.
Our conversation focused on further deepening this partnership, particularly by strengthening ties and cooperation between our legislative institutions.
I also expressed my sincere appreciation to the Government and people of China for their longstanding friendship and support for Somalia, and especially for China’s consistent respect for and support of Somalia’s sovereignty, unity, independence, and territorial integrity.
I look forward to seeing the friendship and cooperation between our two countries and peoples continue to grow stronger in the years ahead.
