Wonderful revisiting repertoire this term and discovering some new pieces. Such a privilege to offer this music in the Abbey church. All services open to the public.
Wonderful to welcome Ripon Cathedral Choir to Amleforth to join the Schola Cantorum for Mass yesterday. What a merry noise!

It was a pleasure to sing Choral Evensong with @riponcathedral choir and @rjhk last year. Very excited to be hosting a return visit for our Choral Mass on Friday.
delighted and exceedingly proud to hear that Alix (A24) will be continuing her music studies at @downingcollege @CamUniMusic @Cambridge_Uni
Alix is currently studying on a short course @guildhallschool
Great afternoon in @durhamcathedral and a joy to sing Evensong with @durhamcathchoir during the week of prayer for Christian unity.
Brilliant day in Gateshead @glasshouseicm. We took some of our string players and Alevel musicians to the Tetris & Aronowitz Viola Competion. Super hospitality from the Glasshouse and the T&A organisers. Topped off with a phenomenal recital from Timothy Ridout & Helene Clement
Our junior choristers are going from strength to strength. Over this year their skill and repertoire list will increase as will their role in our musical provision to college liturgies.
A busy term of rehearsals ahead. Book you tickets for our performance of Bach's St John Passion now.

Great Yr 9 Parents Day recital. Wonderful to see new ensembles taking shape with students in the driving seat! #compassforlife
Brilliant Yr9 Recital yesterday evening. A great number of superb performances from our musicians. All performed to their whole year group and ended, as ever, with everyone singing
Delighted to hear that two former students are continuing their singing. Alix (A24) is at @guildhallschool for a year and been accepted into the @TheBachChoir. Seb (DO23) is at @durham_uni and just been awarded at choral scholarship at St Oswald's church in the city. Wonderful!
