NYC Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani referenced Avatar: The Last Airbender while announcing a major water infrastructure project in Central Park. "In Season 1, Episode 16 of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Jeong Jeong of the Order of the White Lotus teaches us: water brings healing and life. While lacking waterbending powers, New York City has engineered a cutting-edge recirculation system for Central Park's Pool, Loch, and Meer to replace the current use of precious drinking water with a reusable supply, redirecting clean water into homes. Additionally, the system allows water levels to be lowered ahead of major storms to reduce flooding risks and sewer overflow. Funded by $35 million in public and private investments, the landmark project is projected to save over 175 million gallons of clean water annually."

Hmm my personal thing is I think people believe in levels. I believe in #metagate to the extent of cast interviews. I could MAYBEEE stretch to believe other cast projects/ maybe some other Netflix originals have clues. I don’t believe to the extent of random other media BUT I +

Will respect you if you do ofc. (I don’t really see the Taylor Swift connection but have zero issues with someone theorising it). My personal hard no is when people start connecting real serial killers/ missing people to it. But yeah I think other people have different +

Boundaries. And I think for some people it makes sense ofc. I’m on board with some aspects of Metagate but not all is what I’m saying basically, but im not going to try and “disprove” anyone else’s theorising unless it’s ACTIVELY harmful to others.
