Stop frying your brain with endless short form content. Read long, complicated, books. Especially novels. Cultivate the ability to think deeply. To focus for long periods. Stare into space and enjoy boredom. Do tasks without any media playing in the background. Resist the urge to reach for your phone every time you feel uncomfortable. Get used to being with uncomfortable emotions instead. Wonder and think about the questions you have instead of asking AI. Become deeply present with everyone around you. Your ability to focus, pay attention, to think deeply, is one of your most valuable assets. Reclaim the immense beauty of experiencing your life directly instead of living it through a screen.

The machine, modernity, hates the sacrifice because it can't be commodified. The sacrifice is the enemy of the modern world. It is the home toiled and cared for versus "Housing". It is personal charity versus public welfare. It is the thing that lasts versus the product.

You will always be called into isolation before you level up. Embrace that. You need the time to hear, see, && feel spirit.

“Disobedience, in the eyes of anyone who has read history, is man's original virtue. It is through disobedience that progress has been made, through disobedience and through rebellion.”

I’m in love with this sentence:
“Never underestimate a person who practices self-education in their free time.”

The periods in which an artist feels the most misunderstood is a great gift, for this is when the work is fully brought to term within them. Only by recognizing that the pain experienced here is an invitation into the deepest parts of their being can they actually experience the true gift of the work—which is ultimately themselves.
The work has to cut the artist down first in order to show them that the entire purpose of the work is not external praise, acceptance or security, but that they might become a more open and pure vessel. It could be said that if the artist makes their commitment consciously seeing and adapting, they may never have a traditionally comfortable life nor societal understanding at all. Never was such the point of the journey anyways.
These periods of vast ambiguity challenge intention and therefore purify them and the work in the process. With so much unknown, the artist is forced to naturally intuit what is truth for them and what is not, what needs leaving behind and what is now welcomed. It is a whole new way of seeing, and therefore both they and the world are better for it.
The ultimate goal is a life free of hang-ups, of total liberation. No way of seeing is clung to, no time or method pitted in comparison against each other and nothing external is lauded as security. Such is a life of total ambiguity without any fighting it, a full embrace of life as mystery. In this space, the artist need not seek out the work, for it will seek them out.

people often forget so it’s important to remember : You are not required to follow the timeline created by the collective psyche..You can choose what you tune into..the choice is (always) yours

What will come of all this. I feel like I’m living in the future of those I’m around. Using Ai and seeing the things it can do while realising that it really is getting better each month. Watching the slow decay of all the things that defined my generation. Scrolling through YouTube and how very many are trying to cash in on “the end of the Ai boom” narrative. It’s not the end of the ai boom, it’s the end of civilisation as we know it, the end of a paradigm. It’s the end of the illusion, the end of the technological divide. Governments are struggling to keep the illusion alive, you should see the extent they are going to in Australia to subdue the population. The uprisings around the world are being muted to the public. The only weapon remaining, the greatest of them all. Division and the illusion of power and control will keep you at bay. That and free money…while it buys you less and less and costs you more in time.

The most radical thing you can do to rebel against this emerging post-literate, brain-slop-world we are entering is read long, complicated books on a daily basis. The ability to pay attention for long periods will be one of the most valuable and rare skills of the future.
