We made a thing today 👉 ancher.ai I've spent 15 years in media—making stories go viral @HuffPost @YahooNews , and turning @newsbreakApp into America's most popular news app. I've worked through generations of algorithms to help content find people. Things changed. Thanks to AI, today finding something new has never been easier. The hardest thing right now, ironically, is to find something you've already found. What?! @OpenAI @claudeai know almost everything—except what you saw on X or YouTube last week. Where the hell did it go? @mem0ai @supermemory call it a “memory layer.” It's a chat log—full of things I asked a bot to do, not the things I found worth keeping. We believe the missing piece is everything that happened BEFORE THE PROMPT. What you read, watched, and chose to keep. Later, just ask ChatGPT/Claude or whatever you use: "What was that thing about...?" Get back the exact sentence. The exact moment in the video. With the source. Try Ancher 👉 ancher.ai

If I can't find or use things I've already read, watched, or thought about - the content that resonated with me... What's the point of finding even more new content for people? #ancher #news #remembers

The wait is finally over We are releasing Agent-28 next week. The first agentic video editor built from the ground up for AI. We are giving the first 1000 free early access Comment “28” to join Agent28 spawns specialized agents that plan, edit, generate visuals, add motion, and bring everything together. You direct. The agents edit.

I think a lot of people are still thinking about AI memory in the wrong frame. They treat memory as a better search problem. Store more things. Retrieve the right things. Put them into context at the right time. That matters, but it is not the whole problem. The deeper question is not whether an agent can find a piece of information. The deeper question is whether that information can actually change what the agent does. Human memory does not work like a database query. Most of the time, we are not consciously searching for memories. They surface because the current situation gives them weight. A sentence from a meeting. A mistake from last year. A pattern we have seen three times before. A preference we never wrote down. These things shape our next action without us opening a “memory tool.” That is why I do not think longer context windows solve memory. A long context window gives the model more room to read. It does not automatically teach the model what matters. It may even make the problem worse. More context can mean more noise, more false connections, and more reasons for the agent to overfit to irrelevant details. The real challenge is scope. Some memories should affect one task. Some should affect one project. Some should affect a team. Some should become part of how an organization works. A good memory system needs to understand that difference. This is also why I think the interesting opportunity is not just “vertical memory” for longer agent sessions. The bigger opportunity is horizontal memory across teams and organizations. Enterprise memory is messy. It involves permissions, security, shared context, private context, team language, workflows, and company-specific ontology. A model upgrade will not magically solve that. The future of AI memory is probably not one universal brain that remembers everything. It is a layered system: retrieval for facts, context injection for unknown unknowns, adapters for taste and style, structured memory for teams, and strict boundaries for what should never be mixed. The winning memory products will not feel like search engines. They will feel like judgment infrastructure. They will help agents know what to carry forward, what to forget, what to apply now, and what to leave alone. That is much harder than RAG. And much more valuable.

Fun fact, users use /fast less during the weekend. The weekend is for relaxation, even for the model.

Future shall be agentic. No more buttons, just express your desires to agent Smith
I don't come often to GMail (OpenAI is a Slack company), but I swear, every time I do open it, there is a new button somewhere around the top right corner.
