Abdul El-Sayed gets fact checked for lying about saying that long wait times under government-run healthcare "sucks for them."
For years Talarico used his background in Christian theology to preach Woke.
Now that he's running for office he is running away from all of it? So he lied about his interpretation of God then? Or now?
'Hey, those things I said the Bible said? I didn't mean that!'
Talarico is asked about his prior woke comments.
His response?
He was "inarticulate."
"I think what I've regretted is kind of how I phrased certain things."
"When you pull out maybe the most inarticulate of those things to make an attack ad, I certainly regret not articulating my position more clearly."
He doesn't regret any of his positions, just how he phrased them in a way that told you what he actually believes.
He didn't try to hide who he actually is back then.
Which is exactly what he's doing now.
Imagine buying the 'moderated' Talarico narrative that's being shoveled out by this guy and his campaign.

🚨 JUST NOW: El-Sayed confirms Medicare for All would get rid of private insurance plans
Abdul: “If the government is everybody’s insurer, it’s basically buying [healthcare] for everybody”
Host: "So you remove the insurance companies and government is now the insurer?"
Abdul: "Government becomes the insurer"
Abdul goes on to say insurance companies will be allowed to offer "luxury products for a couple folks"

Sydney Sweeney votes in California! 😆
BRILLIANT ad by the Prop 39 campaign. Common sense is on the ballot in this election—and not just in the governor's race.
YES on Voter ID!

Texas Senate hopeful James Talarico recently told Fox News that he’s against “trans athletes playing in girls’ sports if it endangers safety or fairness” and would “absolutely” vote to ban sex-change surgeries for minors.
Two days later, he privately apologized to the head of the trans activist group Human Rights Campaign, Kelley Robinson, who said Talarico’s “comments got clipped so his overall approach to the issue wasn’t clear, and that he believed in most cases that there are no safety or fairness issues when trans kids play sports,” the Washington Sun reported.

READ: “Abdul El-Sayed touts endorsements from police unions on his campaign website and says he will "work hand in hand with law enforcement" if elected to the Senate in Michigan. But in videos unearthed by the Washington Free Beacon, El-Sayed said his "heart races" out of fear when he sees cops, suggested that American police officers should not carry guns, and that it’s time to "rethink the power of police unions," which "sink their claws" into politicians.” freebeacon.com/democrats/une…

I do think we're looking at a polling error right. Last night there were 892 interviews across a bunch of districts. 4/4 Dems were +129% of expectations, 4/4 Republicans only +2%.

According to his own sister, Abdul El-Sayed’s family has “long been” Muslim Brotherhood.
Abdul needs to be honest with Michiganders about he and his families ties to terrorism.
El-Sayed's campaign doesn't deny the Muslim Brotherhood posts are from his sister 👀
BREAKING: Abdul El-Sayed's campaign is responding to @FoxNews after unearthed social media posts from El Sayed's sister in 2012 appear to show her saying her family has been involved with and supportive of the Muslim Brotherhood. I asked the campaign if they deny the posts are in fact from his sister, and what comment they have given that El-Sayed just told Meet the Press over the weekend that nobody in his family has any ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. This is what they told me.
“Abdul is a dad and a doctor. He has spent his entire career working to keep Michiganders healthy and safe. Independent fact checkers have repeatedly debunked Mike’s lies, but their campaign continues to use bad faith attacks on Abdul's faith and family. Mike wants to distract from Trump’s agenda that is terrorizing Michigan families at the pump and at the grocery store."
- El-Sayed campaign spokesperson Roxie Richner.
On background, the campaign says that claims El Sayed and his family are part of the Muslim Brotherhood have been debunked as "racist" and "untrue".
Traveled with @KatieZacharia on a '24 campaign swing once - she is incredibly smart and absolutely the friendliest! Great news if true!
Trump has selected Katie Zacharia, a conservative commentator who worked briefly at DHS, as his new White House Press Secretary, multiple White House officials told CNN.
Trump in recent days called a number of his close allies and advisers to seek their opinion of Zacharia, Karoline Leavitt, a person familiar with the discussions told CNN.

Michigan's Trump counties are already near their Election Day share of mail returns from '22 and '24, with 26 days still to go. A strong early showing for GOP turf. [Updated for Oct 8 data.]

Now @KenPaxtonTX is demanding “proof of life” from James Talarico after 12 days out of the public eye.
The campaign is calling for a video of Talarico holding today’s newspaper, his flight information from NYC, and a doctor’s note confirming his reported “flu” diagnosis.
Wow can’t believe Karen Bass said this when you deceptively manipulate the full quote a certain way.

ICYMI: According to a new DHS IG report, the Biden administration ICE received over 3.1 million leads on visa overstays during FY21-FY24, including more than 100,000 flagged as public safety threats.
They arrested just eight of them.
Almost zero enforcement of visa overstays.
NEW: A new DHS Inspector General report finds the Biden administration took almost no enforcement action against visa overstays, including public safety threats, and arrested only a handful out of millions. The numbers are stunning. From FY21-FY24:
- ICE received over 3.1 million visa overstay leads, roughly 104,000 of which had public safety or national security concerns. But that resulted in only 496 investigations by ICE (2%) and ONLY EIGHT ARRESTS.
- A September 2021 Mayorkas policy memo directed ICE to target only illegal immigrants considered “Priority 1 leads” (highest threat to public safety). Out of 1,769 viable Priority 1 visa overstay leads, ICE only conducted 84 investigations (5%), resulting in ONLY 2 ARRESTS.
- The majority of the more than 3 million visa overstay leads were deemed “non-priority”. 2.8 million of these “non-priority” leads were sent to ICE for investigation, leading to just 5 investigations and ONLY TWO ARRESTS. (out of 2.8 million!)
Another shocking piece of the report, visa overstays tracked by CBP exploded by 364% during Biden’s first full year in office (Fiscal Year 2022).
CBP tracked visa overstays in FY2021: 171,269
CBP tracked visa overstays in FY2022: 795,167
THE DHS IG concluded the 2021 Mayorkas memo is largely behind the lack of enforcement.
“ICE conducted few nonimmigrant overstay lead-initiated investigations and arrested even fewer foreign nationals who stayed beyond or violated the terms of their admission because of the September 2021 policy that directed ICE’s limited resources only to leads posing a threat to national security, public safety, and border security. When ICE did attempt to pursue action on a lead, it encountered challenges verifying addresses and locating the foreign nationals present in the United States. Further, ICE did not have sufficient resources to pursue all overstay leads.”
