Tage Thompson at center again? Idk will wait and see about him. - If they’re going to play only one good period tonight I’d prefer it be the second. That would be progress. - To me this is not a must win. But another can’t lose game. Sabres really should come home from this trip with 6 points. - Can’t let Celebrini beat you. Tonights a night you want a heavy scrapper in your lineup to mess with a young star player like that. Unfortunately Sabres don’t have one. - If the Sabres want to practice their PP tonight would be a good night. Pretty easy to get in Mike Kesselring’s head. Fellas… My thoughts after Game 11 of 84. - Points are points. This ain’t the NFL. You don’t have to win every night, but when you’re struggling, you gotta find ways to get points. The Sabres are doing that. Don’t listen to NFL first guys takes on Puck. - To the haters… I’ll give you this. UPL can be a pumpkin at times. But more often than not, his team hangs him out to dry in the slot. He’s our number one guy. Show him some #re2pect. - Special teams have cost the Sabres more games than goaltending. Last night, two PPs in the third period of a tie game and they could barely get a shot off. Can’t score on the PP, can’t kill penalties. Not exactly a winning formula, fellas. - Tage Thompson and Rasmus Dahlin have not been good enough. Fellas keep saying the “Sabres took a step back because they didn’t make any moves”. Wrong. They’ve taken a step back because their stars have. Big boys don’t get nights off, and ours have been using a whole lot of PTO. - Lindy Ruff is not pushing the right buttons right now. He and the staff gotta take a bit of Heat. Line combos are bad and have no time to gain some chemistry. - Hand up I did not know Conor Timmins was that important to this team. Need him back. - Whispers… The Sabres had the exact same record through 11 games last season. Young team. Sometimes it takes a little time to remember how to play their game. They’ll be good fellas. Fellas… My thoughts for you after 2… - Sabres stopped skating Washington took it to them. Still can’t figure out how to out three periods together. - *Whispers* The problem all year has been the lack of Tage Thompson and Rasmus Dahlin playing at the level they need to play at. Not playing like big boys. - UPL is playing really well. If you don’t think so I’m going to have to take your truck puck knower card. - Sabres are not good enough to take penalties. Fellas… My thoughts for you after 1 - When the Buffalo Sabres play their game. There are very few teams in the National that can compete - Tuch was going to score fellas. The fact that it was assisted by Gilbert and Thompson was a nice touch. - Sign Jack Quinn in the dressing room and don’t let him come out for the second until he does. - The Caps are going to start throwing the body. Sabres can’t get in to it and have to keep using their wheels. Boone Jenner would have been a great Sabre. - Finally for the youngsters. Jacob Chychrun was playing at the same height and weight that he is tonight at 15 years old. If you want to make the National do your pushups and try your absolute hardest to be 6’3 215 pounds by your OHL draft year. If you’re not I recommend getting into finance. Fellas… Some pregame thoughts.. - Rasmus Dahlin and Tage Thompson have to remember to put their big boy pants on in the dressing room. When they go this team goes. - Reminder… UPL plays well on the road. I think he has a good night. No matter what happens show him #re2pect. He’s your number 1 goalie. - If the Kid that is Konsta is still on the first line think this is his breakout night. - And finally for the big boys.. Hockey Outlet was a special place. Cloudy Beer pitchers, over cooked chicken fingers, surpluses of 3x Taxkla pants in the pro shot. But my favorite decoration was always the blurry picture of OVI from when he skated at the Outlet that Timmy Igo proudly framed next to his 1997 Sports Illustrated calendar. Fellas… Bad take alert. Reminder takes two to tango. The Buffalo Sabres don’t negotiate with terrorists. Post draft Sabres offered up quality/ Jets opted for quantity at the end of the day. Fellas… Heaters State of the Crest * After 10 games * - First.. Bye, Bye to this American Hero guy. Kev Chevy went to the levy (Kulich, Helenius, Ostlund, Quinn) but the levy was dry. That does not mean the crest dies fellas. They had a cloud hanging over them.. that’s gone now back to business. - I still think UPL needs to be moved. Seems like a good dude he’ll have a good career but his time with the Sabres is over. Fellas at 550 killed him. Both him and the Sabres deserve a fresh start. - The Sabres are still .500 and are yet to have played a full three periods of their game. They’ve played 4 Atlantic division games and have gotten at least a point in all 4. - Rasmus Dahlin and Tage Thompson both have not played at the level they’re capable of yet. Both have had slow starts but they need to be better quick. - Doan, Ostlund, Benson … we’re guys they’ve needed to come up big and haven’t shown up yet. That can’t happen and needs to be fixed. I will cut them some slack they’re coming off their first summer with a couple milly in the bank. - Sabres still need to get “heavier”. It was a problem against Dallas, Florida, Philly and will be evident tonight against Washington. They have size on the backend but not upfront. To me this has always been a bigger problem than the goalie. Hold the line 74 to play fellas. #LetsGoBuffalo

Fellas… Hand up I’m kinda siding with Dan from Depew and the fellas from 550. Jarmo K could have AT LEAST spun the teams Number 2 defenseman who was going to refuse to resign for a Top 5 pick, a second round pick and Louis Crevier. And then trade for another young puck moving d-man. We’ve got a young core too!! He should have extended Zach Benson and Noah Ostlund! I mean good god fellas. It’s not like we’ve got a ton of young prospects in the system and cap space to acquire and sign a big boy Top-6 forward! #LetsGoBuffalo
