.@AppleSupport Why did it take a full month and at least 6 calls to resolve my recent case? Why do support agents promise to call back but never do? Why is your troubleshooting so haphazard? I've never seen such poor support. I think you owe me an explanation.

#WordPress experts, I'm trying to build a full-width site but I can't seem to make it work. I'm using Twenty Twenty-Two. I don't code. What's the easy way to get this done? Another theme? A plugin? Much appreciation for your advice.

Bought a ring light, but it makes me look ghastly in #CapCut #video. Also puts big rings in my eyeglasses. How to filter that out? Experts, opine!

The EU aims to be climate-neutral by 2050 – an economy with net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. This objective is at the heart of the European Green DealEN••• and in line with the EU’s commitment to… europa.eu/!MTNp8X

Cars bake cities. Heard of that “heat island” effect? It’s caused by miles of 🚗 blacktop and paved parking spots. Want to chill off? Trade the polluting cars for growing trees. We’ll move faster 🚌 💨, live healthier, and have a 🌲 cool neighborhood.

Constraining 1.5°C scenarios (default) to have more realistic declines in coal (PPCA) means that oil & gas have to go down faster, with the US & Europe doing most of the heavy lifting. This fundamental point is too often overlooked! @FuelOnTheFire nature.com/articles/s41558-0…

.@nationaljournal quotes CCL about RISEE Act prospects in lame duck: “There’s still really an opportunity for a couple more climate wins this year,” said Ben Pendergrass, VP of government affairs at CCL. “It’s time to get RISEE over the finish line.” 🧵 nationaljournal.com/s/719758…

.@Eddypc: "Civil society has been fighting for more than 10 yrs for Canada to end its suicidal support to the industry that is putting us in conflict with nature and making us sicker and poorer. Today’s announcement represents a major win against destructive corporate interests."

Replying to @andrew_leach
Emissions from Quebec transportation have grown faster than Canadian oil and gas emissions since 2015. The objective of the carbon pricing system was harmonized prices, and having widely diverging prices does not meet that objective. teapawt.org/andrew_leach/status/15…
That’s not good for California or Canada teapawt.org/andrew_leach/status/15…
Right now, California/Quebec emissions allowance futures are settling for ~$40CAD for next April. If that holds, the carbon price for driving a car on the Metropolitaine in Montreal will be almost 40% less than the carbon price of driving on the 401 in Ontario or the QE2 in AB.
