Today is the 33rd anniversary of the day the IRA bombed Warrington town centre and killed my son Tim and 3 yr old Johnathan Ball. Words can never describe how losing a child leaves a huge hole in your heart and your family. Eternal love Tim ❤️❤️

His Majesty the King has approved the appointment of Michelle Skeer OBE QPM as His Majesty's Chief Inspector of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services on an interim basis. Michelle brings 36 years experience across policing & fire and will be the first woman to hold this role.
“I am honoured to be appointed to this important role at a pivotal time for police forces and fire & rescue services. The inspectorate plays a vital role in identifying problems early, supporting sustainable improvements and promoting best practice. I look forward to building on the strong foundations established by Sir Andy Cooke. “I am committed to making sure HMICFRS continues to provide independent, evidence-based oversight, firmly focused on ensuring the public receives the service they expect and deserve. Our work is essential to making communities safer.” Michelle Skeer, Incoming Interim HM Chief Inspector of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services

It is my son’s 45th birthday today. Another birthday he has not enjoyed with his family because of an indiscriminate IRA bomb. Tim has lived on through the charity and it’s peace building work and so his life has served 000’s of others. God bless you my son
