#COP26 has failed
WE MUST ACT NOW!
Become a CARBON CAPTURE scheme by simply placing a plastic bag over your mouth as you breathe out CO2. Squeeze the bag into a barrel & when the barrel is full, drop it into an old well or bury it in the garden.

An astounding lack of knowledge from Eagle on the state of rivers, and she's the head of DEFRA! And more vibes based policy from this Government in response.

Pension fund trustees have a responsibility to manage their fund in a way that maximise returns.
Is this political interference an illegal attempt to divert pension fund trustees from their responsibilities?
Can the Pensions Regulator step in?
Pakistan is mass departing 1 million Afghan refugees.
Shall we ‘divest’ all investments from Pakistan and stop money being sent there from Britain?

1. Razveljaviti predsedniške volitve (Romunija);
2. Ukiniti informativni program na nacionalni RTV (Madžarska);
3. Poslati policijo na Ustavno sodišče (Poljska);
4. Tri tedne pred volitvami poslati v zapor predsednika stranke, ki vodi v anketah (Slovenija);
5. Zasesti nacionalno RTV s policijo in zamenjati vodstvo (Poljska);
6. Prekiniti mandate vodstvu nacionalne RTV in izvesti čistko zaposlenih (Slovenija);
7. Poslati v zapor člane prejšnje vlade brez možnosti obrambe (Madžarska);
8. Podeliti skoraj milijon državljanstev ilegalnim migrantom po hitrem postopku (Španija);
9. Zapreti novo Nuklearno elektrarno in zgraditi plinovod do Rusije (Nemčija);

The hidden tax measure in the Budget is huge for people paying tax under self-assessment - sole traders, partners, landlords, retired investors.
For 6th April 2028-29, you currently pay 50% of your income tax late in the tax year in question (in January 2029), 50% just after the year end (in July 2029) with any make-up payment in January 2030.
Under the new proposals you will pay your tax perhaps monthly or quarterly (TBC) from April 2029 onwards. A rough analysis suggests the impact is to draw about 50% of your tax bill forward, a huge cashflow boost to HMRC and a significant funding issue for the self-employed.
The Treasury recognises this, and expects to raise £1.3bn of additional tax in 29/30 as a result of this change.
The cashflow impact of the accelerated charge will send some businesses to the wall.
The Chancellor is fiddling with standing charges on bills, while £billions are poured into wind power that is literally thrown away 👇
Frequency above the operational range this morning
The second chart is the wind output. The blue shaded area to the left is wind on the transmission system
The lighter shaded area to the left is wind that had to be curtailed off... It's absolutely massive and the reason we've already spent over £25 million balancing the grid today
About a third of current wind generation is being thrown away
This is what you get when you race to build windfarms behind grid constraints. This is our money being wasted by the Connect and Manage policy this government refuses to cancel
