1/ Double and Triple-Digit Gains? It's All in a Day's Work for Angel investment Research
Who is Angel Financial Research?
Well this isn’t your typical Wall Street firm; Angel Publishing champions individual liberty and free markets…
China's crude imports are running near a ten-year low. The biggest buyer on earth did not quit oil. It cut refinery runs and leaned on the stockpile it built last year. Stockpiles run out. The buying comes back at whatever price is left.
$USO
Investors pulled 3.3 billion dollars out of the Russell 2000 ETF last week, one of its biggest exits in nine years. Small caps borrow at floating rates. With the 10-year above 5%, that is not a rotation. It is an interest bill.
$IWM
The Fed hiked last week. The 10-year kept climbing anyway, now above 5.15% for the first time since 2007. The Fed sets the overnight rate. The long end sets its own price, and it has stopped taking instructions.
$TLT
The Greenland deal curbs Chinese buyers of strategic mineral assets. It does not speed permits or pay for roads, ports and power.
$REMX
Energy Fuels already runs the White Mesa Mill in Utah. New Greenland miners would spend years building what it already owns.
$UUUU
Critical Metals already holds an exploitation license for Tanbreez. In Greenland, a license is a starting line, not a finish line.
$CRML
MP Materials produced 840 tons of NdPr oxide in Q2 and booked $108.5M in revenue. That is what a working rare earth mine looks like.
$MP
Greenland Mines jumped 230% on a deal that granted zero new mining permits. Headlines move stocks faster than drills move rock.
$GRML
The US exports roughly 1.3 million barrels a day of diesel. Pull that from the world and global prices spike, not fall.
$USO
About 55% of US refining sits on the Gulf Coast and the pipes out are near full. Trapped diesel can't reach New Jersey or California.
$PSX
Ban diesel exports and Gulf refiners cut runs. Fewer runs means less gasoline and jet fuel too. The fix raises prices across the barrel.
$MPC
Diesel crack spreads blew past $100 a barrel, above the 2022 peak. Refiners got paid because they could sell to whoever paid most.
$VLO
Congress banned crude exports in 1975 to fight high prices. Prices barely moved and domestic output suffered. A diesel ban rhymes badly.
$XLE
Brent is back above $107. The risk premium that was supposed to be temporary keeps renewing its lease. At some point a premium that never leaves is just the price.
$USO
Houston now has more than twice as many home sellers as buyers, per Redfin. Prices still haven't cracked much. That gap is sellers refusing to accept the math. The math is patient.
