Good piece. "The pandemic hasn’t put an end to the trend of people working later in life. But it might just make their future more unequal." Aviva estimates we have lost 400,000 older workers from the labour market through the pandemic. Not good, for any of us.

There's been a lot written about migrants going home & causing labour shortages. But not enough attention paid to older workers choosing or being forced to retire earlier. This is a reversal of a trend that's been hugely important to many economies. ft.com/content/cefbe0b0-8102…
