Supporting National Board candidates was such a great way to spend the day! Thank you to the four amazing educators who allowed me to support them! 🙏 So grateful to our incredible educators for all they do! #NBCTstrong #amAZingNBCTs @NBPTS @azk12

Chinle Unified School District serves over 3,400 students and is led by lifelong resident Superintendent Quincy Natay, 2021 AZ Superintendent of the Year. Without a solution, Chinle and Apache County district schools will lose $14.9 million in 40 days.

Pass the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to protect our democracy - Education Votes educationvotes.nea.org/actio…

As educators, we teach our students that voting is a responsibility of citizenship and a sacred right that we must protect for all Americans.
We won't allow Congress to set aside its responsibility to defend our democracy. Every eligible voter must have the ability to cast their ballots safely & freely. And they must be able to do that without partisan politicians sabotaging the results of our elections. #VotingRights

Love supporting Community Schools and working with incredible humans from all over the country. Working on needs and assets assessments to create the spaces our students and communities need and want! 💜 Greatful for leadership and support of @NEAToday

Arizona has a dire teacher retention & recruitment crisis & yet every year some legislators would rather focus their time on demonizing trans kids. Trans kids are trying to live their lives, it's awful that grown adults want to make that harder for them. amp.azcentral.com/amp/663084…

Love that my work focuses on finding ways to best support educators. Times are so far beyond challenging right now and educators can use our support. Keep asking, keep listening, and keep supporting our educators and schools. 💜

I know it’s alluring to say. I know it feels like if u talk it, u get street cred. But..EQUITY is more thn a buzzword. Working toward equity isn’t a catchall 4 doing “good stuff” It’s a LENS-WAY OF BEING-DAILY ACTION. It’s ok 2 use other language if ur unsure of what that means.
