💔 SHE COULDN’T USE HER HANDS. BUT THE ANIMALS STILL NEEDED HER.
Vera has developed tendonitis in both wrists. For several days, she couldn't use her hands. Yet the animals in her care still needed food, cleaning, and medical attention.
🐾 Gypsy is recovering from a painful ear infection. Two little sisters, rescued after their mother died, are growing. And Kosta needs a follow-up examination after tumour surgery.
Vera has spent years caring for these animals. Now, she needs someone to stand beside her.
❤️ Animals First Aid is working to provide food and veterinary support while seeking practical help to ease her daily workload.
🙏 Will you help Vera and the animals who depend on her? Every donation makes a difference.

BREAKING: Zohran Mandani announces free pet food at 22 NYC food pantries starting today, to help struggling families keep their pets.
"No New Yorker should have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their pets. Keeping families together means keeping pets at home, too."
This is way better than using my tax dollars to buy Russian diesel. Thank you, Mayor, for showing how our tax dollars can be used to directly support our own citizens and their families!

She Couldn't Walk. Look at Her Now
When rescuers from Paws of Smederevo found little Nadia, her front leg hung lifelessly from her tiny body. She was covered in mud, tangled in burrs, infested with fleas, and suffering from a severe fracture, most likely caused by being hit by a car.
She was in pain, but her rescuers refused to give up on her.
Through our partnership with Paws of Smederevo, Animals First Aid helped cover the cost of Nadia’s surgery. And the operation was successful! ❤️
Her veterinarian is pleased with her recovery, and although she still needs time to heal, Nadia finally has a chance to live a happier, pain-free life.
This is what compassion can accomplish. 🐶💕
But Nadia isn't the only animal who needs help. Other injured and abandoned animals are still waiting for the care they desperately need.
Your donation can help us support rescue partners providing vital veterinary treatment, medication, and care to vulnerable animals.
🙏 Will you help us give another animal a second chance?

Together, we can turn suffering into hope, one animal at a time. 🐾

💔 A Wound Too Terrible To Ignore!🐾❤️
When our partner, Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary in Thailand, received reports of a dog with a horrific wound, their team searched for days. Twice, they went looking. Twice, she had disappeared.
But they refused to give up. ❤️
After knocking on doors and searching the community, they finally found Nueng, a beautiful dog living with an elderly woman who had devoted her life to caring for others. The woman loved Nueng dearly but had no idea that free veterinary treatment was available.
When the sanctuary team saw Nueng's wound, they knew she urgently needed help. Maggots had infested the damaged tissue, and she was suffering terribly.
The veterinary team carefully cleaned her wound, removed the maggots, and provided antibiotics and pain relief. Slowly, Nueng began to heal. 🩺🐶
Today, Nueng is recovering and has returned home to the woman who loves her and her twin sister who missed her. 💕
But this rescue was only possible because someone cared enough to make that first call—and because our partner was there to answer it.
Your support helps Animals First Aid provide life-saving veterinary care, reach animals in remote communities, and give suffering animals a second chance.
🐾 Please donate today and help us reach the next animal who needs us.
❤️ Donate here: donation.animalsfirstaid.org…
Every donation, no matter the amount or currency, helps us make a difference.
Because no animal should have to suffer simply because help seems out of reach.❤️🐾

She slept in her car because there was nowhere else. 💔🐾
Two abandoned kittens needed help, but Olfa had nowhere safe to put them and no money left for another emergency.
She is already caring for around 50 cats, seven dogs in boarding, and countless community animals. Her debts are growing, food supplies are running low, and veterinary bills keep piling up.
Olfa has never stopped helping animals in need. Now she needs our help.
Please donate today to provide food, veterinary care, medicine, and safe shelter for the animals depending on her.

Dumping a dog is already a crime in all 50 states (animal cruelty/abandonment statutes). Penalties range from fines and short jail time to felonies when the animal suffers or dies. The real issue is catching people who do it and actually charging them.
So sorry for your loss. Seventeen years is a long, lucky life together, and the photo shows how peaceful he looks. Sending you strength.
He slipped away gently after everything you tried. Thinking of the positives, like you said the smiles he never stopped giving. Mr Big was lucky to have you, and so were we watching.
Mr Big lost his battle today. I suppose we all knew it was coming but it still hits hard. The big gentle giant who we’ve fixed up several times slipped away gently as his options ran out. I’m happy his body can now relax as I think the pain was starting to bother him.
I get so many people asking me how to deal with the loss of a dog. It’s one of my most popular DMs. I wish I knew the answer. All I know is I like to think of the positives and the good memories. As time passes you soon realize you were so lucky to be in a dog’s presence. Probably none more so than Mr Big.
He was a bundle of fun. Always up for an adventure. Always giving 100%. The sort of dog who just makes you smile non stop. Farewell big guy ❤️

More than 1,000 people protested Marshall BioResources in New York on Saturday for breeding over 16,000 beagles for animal testing each year. They are the last such facility in the country, as animal activists shut down the other 2 in the past 4 years.

Tourists face legal action after being filmed riding a nesting sea turtle in Oman
Honestly, this really makes me angry. A nesting turtle should be left alone, not treated like something people can climb on for a video. Wildlife deserves our respect and space
🐾 SHE CANNOT TURN AWAY — BUT SHE IS COUNTING EVERY RUPEE. ❤️
In Zirakpur, India, Simranjeet Kaur cares for more than 70 stray dogs, along with cats and cows. She provides food, medicines, and veterinary care to animals who have nowhere else to turn.
But after covering essential needs, only ₹19,595 (around US$204) remains in her emergency fund, and another injured or sick animal could arrive at any moment.
One tiny puppy is already recovering with both hind legs bandaged. Others are depending on Simran for their next meal and medical care.
Please help us replenish this emergency fund and keep food, medicine, and veterinary care within reach. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps.

Urgent help needed: please keep these cats fed and cared for
Every day, vulnerable feral cats in Lanseria, South Africa, depend on Nina and Lanseria Ferals for food, care and protection.
Nina is currently in urgent need of R5,000–R7,000 to purchase dry food, wet food tins and sachets for the cats she feeds across multiple colonies.
These cats still need to eat every single day even when Nina is responding to injured animals and emergency rescues.
Cats like Lucky, rescued after being badly injured by a snare, and Huey, who survived horrific third-degree burns, show what compassion and consistent care can make possible. But there are many more cats waiting for their next meal.
Please help us keep them fed. Every donation matters.

📷 We couldn’t say no to these faces 📷
These gentle donkeys in Tanzania work hard carrying water and heavy loads for the communities that depend on them. But many face dehydration, painful wounds, hoof problems, and exhaustion.
Animals First Aid is proud to support our new partner, Meru Animal Welfare Organization (MAWO), who are working directly in these communities to provide veterinary care, improve access to water, and teach humane donkey welfare.
In 2025 alone, MAWO's mobile clinics reached 4,038 donkeys. Now, with your help, we want to reach even more.
📷 Your donation can help provide:
📷 Treatment for wounds and injuries
📷 Hoof and eye care
📷 Veterinary support
📷 Better access to drinking water
📷 Humane education to prevent suffering
These donkeys carry the burdens of others every day.
Let's carry some of theirs.
📷 Please donate today and help Animals First Aid support MAWO's life-changing work:

🔥 She was set on fire🐾
Burns was deliberately set on fire and suffered horrific injuries. 💔
She survived the cruelty but her journey is far from over. Burns is still in hospital, receiving the treatment and care she desperately needs.
And there is hope. ❤️ A loving home in the Netherlands is waiting for her when she is strong enough to make the journey.
We are also standing with Nova, who arrived with a devastating fracture that left her bone exposed. Her leg had to be amputated—but today, she is recovering beautifully.
**This is what your support makes possible:** emergency treatment, life-saving surgery, hospital care and the chance for animals to heal and finally know safety.
🙏 Please help Burns continue her recovery.
**Every gift matters. $50, $100 or $250 can make a real difference.**

She learned to run again!
Meet Lili. She arrived with a devastating paw injury. SARA fought to save her leg with daily bandage changes, antibiotics and loving care, but eventually amputation was the only way to save her. And Lili showed everyone what resilience looks like. ❤️ She learned to walk, run, and play again on three legs.
Today, she is affectionate, happy, and full of life. But another frightened dog has now arrived. He barely allows anyone near him and needs time, safety, food, and gentle care before he can learn to trust.
SARA cannot stop saying yes, but they cannot do it alone. 🙏 Your $50 gift or any amount you can give can help Animals First Aid stand beside SARA and provide the food, shelter and veterinary care these animals desperately need.
👉 Please help give the next animal a second chance
