in my quest to animate in every program, @GregzillaGT reminded me of the program @AnimationPaper. it's a neat, streamlined, and i'll be looking a bit more into it, but it scratches that traditional itch really well (PLUS IT'S FREE RN GO TRY IT).

I timed the stopmotion footage using After Effects.
Then I used @AnimationPaper to animate the characters on top of the footage. I highly recommend this software if you're interested in frame by frame animation.
