Even besides the fact that even one case of a widow being burned alive is one too many, the status of women in general and widows in particular was deplorable to an extent that I am not sure if there is a parallel anywhere else in the world.
Less than 9000 cases(from Vedic age to now) but madarchod chutiyee will make you believe it was in millions

As far as women's conditions are concerned, Brits were indeed a civilising force. Reading about the condition of women in early modern India, particularly Hindu women, has made me the most blackpilled i have ever been about Hondas as a group of people.

Humanities man except if you are doing law. Just pick anything else. Preferably something in the hard science.

It does and i think its true for everyone. Its probably not a deal breaker if they were seriously involved with someone in the past and it did not workout for some reason. Although, being the first serious thing has its own charm that I wouldn't want to miss out on.

I don't particularly care for social norms. People should be free to live their lives as they see fit, provided they aren't infringing on others I have my own preferences about how one ought to live, but I recognise that these are personal preferences, not universal moral truths.

Cersei was a terrible mother. She never truly loved her children, her love was largely an extension of her own narcissism and her pursuit of power. She doted on Joffrey, indulged his worst impulses, ignored his many faults, and looked the other way as he tormented Tommen.

Her attention only shifted to Tommen after Joffrey's death, when he became the last remaining heir to her ambitions. Cersei's affection was conditional on her children's usefulness to her. She wanted them to be extensions of herself, not independent individuals.

cows and ram mandir are two biggest litmus test of a hindu, and your stance on these two is the only truest measure of your civilisational allegiance.

Funnily enough, the official tag line of Kazakh tourism is "Its nice". They directly took the main catch phrase of Borat and used it to promote their country worldwide.
An extremely well deserved flop. There is justice. Let the ethical minority rule prevail. I was in Kazakhstan a few times after "Borat"; people were still distressed about it, would bring it up randomly to explain that "the film misrepresents the country". Antigoyimism is real.

Average clerk makes 90k a month. You can hire someone more qualified from the market who would do a much better job for 30k. Compensation is fixed regardless of output. That would change for a variable incentive based pay. More work at half the salary. No wonder they are mad.
I have always wondered why an employee be so terrified of a change in ownership. The new owner will still need people to run the bank. Why would anyone want to get rid of competent, productive employees? Oh. Wait…

She gives one retarded opinion after another. I sympathise enormously with the girl but it is an isolated incident. Very tragic, unfortunate but still isolated. Also being parents of a psychotic monster isn't a crime and they haven't done anything that's worth arresting them for.
The violence that has happened to a 6 year old, Muslim Disabled girl should shake the conscience of the entire world, not just India. Each one of us should be seething in anger taking to the street demanding the arrest of the monster boy's parents for keeping a dangerous monster without leash and without telling anyone what they are raising. And the monster boy itself should be inside a mental institution in chains if killing it off seems too harsh.

I doubt anyone is reading them. In many of such locations, books the same purpose as a flower vase or a painting, to be displayed as an aesthetic and to convey a claim of intellectual sophistication. None of these people actually read these. A few of them cannot even read.
I like that the shelf behind him has books by both Ajay Shah and Vijay Kelkar, as well as Karthik Muralidharan. At least somebody there is reading about how policy is made and how change is brought about in a country like ours.

Bank clerks make more than Rocket scientists. The current recruitment and compensation policy of govt is highly distorted. Leads to all sorts of negative signals that has profound implications for both the market and society at large.
They're getting HRA and DA and job security being paid by the private tax payer whose job is now increasingly insecure due to AI. HRA alone makes a salary of ₹40K/month in India very bearable.

I want to say something but I will probably lose 90% of my followers.
You think Ram Mandir is settled? It will never be settled. Now not, not in 500 years. They will destroy it and put Babri in the second they have enough power.
