That’s awful❤️
We have just had to block the account of a troll who keeps setting up accounts to post libellous accusations against us. We have nothing to hide - just a team of people trying to make life a little bit more pleasant for vulnerable people who don't have much to be glad about.

God I miss him. So pleased for him though. As he said, I think it was the right time for him (and us) to move on. youtube.com/watch?v=tU4xTWUN…

Gorgeous Alexander on this day in 2021. He was overjoyed to get free ice cream. Note the compulsory vehicle - one had to accompany every outing. I can't believe we are approaching 5 years since that horrendous day we lost you. #grief #childloss

A Clydebank man whose brother died by suicide has this morning started 12 marathons in 12 days in his memory. Shaun Ennis departed from the Titan Crane in Clydebank, beginning a 314-mile journey that will take him through every Scottish city before finishing in Glasgow a week on Friday. He's raising funds for SAMH as a tribute to his brother Christopher, who took his own life three years ago at the age of 35. You can support Shaun here: justgiving.com/page/shauns-1…

Happy Birthday to John and a Happy Anniversary❤️❤️
Well! I asked a question here during Covid and a very nice polite man answered me. His name was John Ellis. Little did I know that one day he would ask me to beome his wife! Happy birthday and happy anniversary to dearest John. They broke the mould when they made you. ❤️

Hackney on his #Boro exit, speaking to Adebayo Akinfenwa. “Yeah [there was guilt]. But the conversations I had, they understood and it was a joint decision. It was the right time for them to sell. Although it was a massive shame, I think it was the right time for both.” #utb

At Valencia’s Mestalla, there’s a statue sitting in the stands in memory of a lifelong season-ticket holder. Even after losing his sight, he kept going to every game with his son beside him. When he passed away, Valencia placed the statue in his old seat. His son still sits next to it today. ❤️👏

I’ve been trying to find the words to share this update, and I don’t think there will ever be an easy way to say it. Following my surgery, I’ve been diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma, an aggressive and terminal brain tumour. Although the surgeons were able to remove most of the tumour, it cannot be cured. I will now be having radiotherapy and chemotherapy in the hope of slowing its regrowth and giving me a little more time. It’s devastating news for me and my family, and something we’re all still trying to come to terms with. Sadly, this also means I won’t be returning to work at Abbey Foregate Post Office. Neil and Katie will be taking over permanently, and knowing that the business I’ve put so much of myself into will continue means an enormous amount to me. I hope it will be something of a legacy, and that you’ll continue to support them just as you’ve supported me. I do want to ask one thing of you all, and that’s to please be gentle with Neil and Katie. They’re doing their very best to keep everything running whilst dealing with something no family should ever have to face. I know how much they’re carrying at the moment, and a little patience and kindness will go such a long way. The difficult truth is that we don’t know how much time I have left, and the reality is that it may be very short. Cancer has already stolen five weeks from us, and I’m determined not to let it take any more of the precious days I have left. So, for now, we’re going to take life one day at a time. We’re going to spend time together, laugh, cry, make memories and enjoy every moment we can. And I’m going to hope that the treatment gives me a little longer to do just that. Thank you to everyone who has asked after me, sent messages and shown such kindness. It means more than I can possibly put into words. And please, keep supporting Abbey Foregate Post Office. It would mean the world to me to know that something I’ve worked so hard for will continue to be part of our lovely community. Much love, Caroline 💛

Will Lankshear is now the top goalscorer across the top 4 divisions. More than Erling Haaland. Boro have had their pants down. Awful signing.

⚖️ FORMER CROWN COURT JUDGE AVOIDED PRISON AFTER ADMITTING 13 CHILD ABUSE IMAGE OFFENCES David Selwood, a former Crown Court judge in Portsmouth, avoided prison after pleading guilty to 13 offences involving indecent images of children. The Winchester man admitted 12 counts of making and one count of possessing indecent photographs of a child after police discovered 75 images involving boys aged eight to 14 on his laptop. He had downloaded the material over a six-week period. His punishment? A 12-month community rehabilitation order - no immediate prison sentence. During his time on the bench, Selwood had sentenced child abuse image offenders himself, including Professor Christopher Bagley, who received a conditional discharge for downloading indecent images of children. A judge who dealt with offenders in court ended up standing in the dock himself. Source UK Database.
