Getting the policing response right to the horrific antisemitic attacks we've seen is critical, but alone it will not be enough.
That’s why City Hall will continue to fund initiatives and organisations that work to prevent radicalisation and combat antisemitism. I joined young people taking part in a workshop by the Anne Frank Trust in north-west London, supported by my Shared Endeavour Fund.

On 6th January 1945, aged 44, Edith Frank, Anne's mother, died of sickness & exhaustion in Auschwitz-Birkenau.
She'd been separated from her daughters at the end of October when they were transported to Bergen Belsen.
Edith was one of 6 million Jews murdered in the Holocaust.
