Supporting Khmer when they took power was quite sensible. They overthrew an American backed regime that was complicit in Vietnam war for the South. What happened next was quite bad. Thankfully Communist Vietnam ended it!
Replying to @Nassreddin2002
Palme supported the fucking Khemer Rouge when they took over Cambodia, supported Castro, supported Khameini and talked about their gallant neutrality while all their defence protocols revolved entirely around Soviet invasion since they knew only one side was a threat.

Palme is the cause of all the problems Sweden have today. Third Worldism was poineered by Palme: -gradual takeover of means of production -Green policies -Multicultutalism the law -Assymetric law and rule enforcement -pro-PLO=pro political violence/terror @Nassreddin2002 ๐Ÿงต

I was told democrats are not moving right on this issue and it was an invention of Hasan Piker
#IAPol: "No Iowan should face discrimination. As a Paralympian, I also know it's important to have rules. It's why I oppose males competing in female sports ... I'm against taxpayers paying for sex changes, too." Josh Turek is up with a new #IASen ad. Future reservations: ๐Ÿ”ต$18.0M ๐Ÿ”ด$15.5M

Absolutely justified
During the 1800s and early 1900s, Belgian liberals and socialists opposed female suffrage because they were afraid that Belgian women (at the time generally very religious) would all vote for the Catholic Party.

omg this poor man
.@vivekramaswami has disgraced himself. Ramaswamy started with soaring rhetoric, post-partisan, data-dependent, technology entrepreneur, here to bring good government to the American people. But like the pigs at the end of Animal Farm: they despised the two-legged farmers, by the last chapter theyโ€™re living in the house, up on their hind legs, little vests on, pocket watches. They became exactly what they abhorred. Thatโ€™s what happened here. In order to win, politicians break their first principles. They abandon their righteous philosophies and sink into a scum position. Ramaswamy did that to himself. I think he loses this election and I think heโ€™s finished himself as a future candidate.

If I was dictator I'd have referendums I wouldn't rig for unimportant issues so people can enjoy voting without it meaning anything

Like voting on gay marriage. Somewhat important but the opposition couldn't use as a proxy to overthrow the party or something

Rural Texas turnout is fucking garbage. Make this women shut up
Why Talarico Is Losing Texas in the Home Stretch Former Democratic Political Strategist Evan Barker believes Democrats have neglected rural Texans in the midterm elections, and are underestimating their distaste for a candidate like James Talarico. Barker shares her findings on Democratic advertising in rural areas and how it will impact voter turnout.

100 abduls over this any day. there should be more pro-palestine pro-M4A politicians who openly identify as "capitalist" and reject DSA affiliation because it gives the latter the opportunity to build a political identity that isnt just lowest common denominator progressive shit
Is L.A. mayoral candidate Nithya Raman a capitalist? "I'm a capitalist and I'm also a Democratic Socialist...we need to make sure capitalism works without harm to workers... to poor people." She says the DSA is a "big tent" but she disagrees with members who call to abolish police, prisons and the Senate. Interview via @InsidePolitics on @CNN

Florida's only hope is Jolly ekeing out a win and being popular by doing nothing like Beshear or Phil Scott. FL Democrats aren't getting a better environment for a generation. Democrats should thank Jolly and Hinojosa for running, only to unexpectedly land in competitive races.
If Dems donโ€™t win FL this year thereโ€™s no hope. They arenโ€™t winning the 28 presidential or senate race OR the 30 senate and governor race (esp if a Dem wins 28). Youโ€™re gonna have to wait till 34-36 for a solid chance to win again.

Prominent social democrats being associated with DSA (& getting DSA endorsements) while the DSA program & majority advance democratic socialism is fine by me. But capitalism is a system based on class society and the exploitation of labor. There's no reconciling it w/ socialism.
