The HyperBEAM-powered Anyone dashboard is live!
After a significant rebuild, the protocol is back online with improved speed and independence from external AO infrastructure, while preserving decentralized and auditable data provenance.
Relay registration, relay rewards and staking rewards are all live, with all users who remained staked receiving full compounding rewards throughout the transition!
More updates on the transition and reward state to follow.

Following a recent community report, we uncovered a method of inflating relay consensus weights through artificial bandwidth bursts.
We've introduced a 50k CW cap for relay scoring as an initial response, while working on longer-term improvements to measurement and governance.
What we found, what we've done, and what's next :

Online privacy and safety has never been more important than it is today.
Make sure you do not leave yourself exposed, leave no stone unturned.
Act before it is too late.
Anyone is essential in any online privacy stack.

Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.
Most privacy projects treat revenue and anonymity as a trade-off, whereas Anyone treats them as the same system.
Premium income flows straight to the operators running the network, but blind-signed credentials keep that money completely separate from the traffic itself, so the exit sees a valid payment and never the person behind it.
This is how you build a network that earns and protects at once.

A recent issue affecting the Anyone Desktop VPN could leave some users stuck at “Connecting 100%”.
The cause was how exit relay countries were being resolved during startup.
That path has now been reworked across macOS, Windows and Linux.
A development thread 🧵

The tradeoff is simple:
Previously, country data could be populated before the connection completed, but enough unknown IPs could block startup entirely.
Now the connection takes priority, while country data catches up in the background when needed.

The fix is now live in Desktop VPN v1.0.7-beta for macOS, Windows and Linux, with new signed builds available for all three platforms.
