I just used @JordiBruin's fantastic MacWhisper Pro to quickly find the exact time codes I needed for adding chapters (with @AppChapters) to tomorrow's episode of The Audacity to Podcast!

I didn't have to listen to find these chapters, I simply searched the transcript from MacWhisper (in "fast" mode!) to find where I spoke each heading. Then, I could type that time code into a new chapter with @AppChapters and hit the back button to ensure I caught lead-ins.
4.1 contains a very dumb bug which makes nothing happen when trying to open a new file. A fix is being submitted right now.
It's been a while, but version 4.1 is out now! Data preservation when the app is quit is the main feature: chaptersapp.com/release-note…

Working on the chapters from our last recording and we have set a new record for our show. 53 chapters!
Still working on the chapter art, but the episode should be available in a couple days! 🙌
Shoutout to @AppChapters for the great apps!

I also found a good way to get started on state preservation (i.e. "Please don't lose everything I just entered if the app quits"), but there are a few more things left to figure out there before it actually, well, works.
Podcast Chapters 3.5 is out, adding the ability to export Podcasting 2.0 RSS data to a file when the mp3 itself is exported.

Podcast Chapters 3.4 is out, adding warnings for strange characters in chapter URL:s, faster waveform generation on modern Macs, and a very important app icon feature: chaptersapp.com/release-note…
Podcast Chapters 3.3 is out, featuring a nice waveform and optional spring-themed app icons.

Need a great Mac tool for generating both ID3 and JSON chapters at the same time? Use @bjoreman's tool. It's an outstanding product:

He helped us design the JSON chapters spec for the "podcast" namespace. Now it can generate the namespace RSS tags also.
Podcast Chapters 3.0 was released as a sort of Easter celebration- featuring support for generation of podcasting RSS tags - people, location, transcript, soundbite and more!

Podcast Chapters’ full version is 50% off this week, in celebration of its first SwiftUI views and new features to come!
What can Podcast Chapters add to become an even more useful tool for working with your episode files?
2.9.3 is out, fixing another little bug with activation of the in-app purchase. This one was more benign though - it let you have unlimited chapters without purchasing. Everyone got a free trial, no harm done 🤷🏻♂️
