🔴ELIMINATED: Ahmed Muhammad Ahmed Baraka, a Nukhba terrorist in Hamas’ military wing was eliminated in southern Gaza last Thursday.
He infiltrated Israel during the October 7 Massacre & took part in the abduction of Israeli civilians, including Alexander Dancyg from Kibbutz Nir Oz. He also assisted in holding numerous hostages, including Nimrod Cohen in southern Gaza.
In a separate strike in northern Gaza last Friday, Omar Awadallah, a Nukhba platoon commander & Moataz Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Nimr, a Nukhba terrorist were eliminated.
Recently, the terrorists advanced terror attacks against Israeli civilians & IDF troops and operated to restore Hamas’ capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire. The terrorists were eliminated in order to remove the threat they posed.

Bashar al-Assad's Cousin Arrested, But?
In a complex security operation involving ongoing surveillance, intelligence gathering, and a raid team, STG security forces arrested Bashar al-Assad's cousin, a man named "Yahya al-Assad," in Homs city, without disclosing the charge against him.
Some might wonder: didn't the whole Assad family flee Syria? Was he foolish enough to stay behind? The answer is simple, Bashar al-Assad had expelled Yahya from the army back in 2011 over his opposition to him, meaning he never took part in the Syrian war.
On top of that, Yahya had filmed a video in 2023 insulting Anisa Makhlouf, Bashar's mother, accusing her and his sister Bushra al-Assad of killing Hafez al-Assad (video attached). Bashar had him imprisoned for it, and he was still in prison when the regime fell.
In short, Yahya al-Assad saw himself as an opponent of the former regime and had no reason to think he needed to flee.
But will being an opponent of the old regime actually help him with this new one, a regime of the ignorant, the uneducated, the head-choppers?
Don't expect anything better from a regime built on tribal and sectarian loyalty, one that keeps looking for ways to rile up its Sunni base every time it stumbles. After the Rankous incident, its economic failures, the counterfeit fuel crisis, and the seizure of public land, among other things, it needed something to distract the Sunni street, and this time, that something was an "officer," conveniently one from the Assad family. The moment the news broke, chants of "Allahu Akbar" rang out from mosques.
This isn't the first time this playbook has been used. Over the past two years, whenever there's been a failure or unrest among its hardline loyalist base, the regime has announced security operations arresting officers or so-called "regime remnants", even when they had nothing to do with any crime.
(That's not to say there aren't former regime officials who were genuinely involved in crimes, there are, just as there are terrorists within the current regime too, among them alJolani himself)

Italy: A cleaner is scrubbing the toilets of a shopping centre in Reggio Emilia when a 22-year-old Egyptian allegedly tries to sexually assault her.
Police already knew him. A court had banned him from the city after an earlier arrest for attempted robbery. He was banned, and he was still there.
This is the grim reality for women in Europe these days, as their leaders have flooded the country with migrants. Sad.

Le Parc National des Virunga est ravi d’annoncer que l’équipe de terrain et les pisteurs communautaires ont observé une nouvelle naissance au sein de la famille Bageni. Uweko a donné naissance à une petite femelle.
C’est la première naissance documentée d’Uweko. À 11 ans, elle est désormais considérée comme une femelle adulte.
Il s’agit de la cinquième naissance enregistrée au sein de la famille Bageni depuis janvier 2026. La famille compte désormais 62 individus et reste la plus grande famille de gorilles de montagne suivie dans le Parc. Cette naissance est la 18e enregistrée dans le secteur Mikeno cette année.

Wakenya we are so blessed; Kenya is home to two of the world’s three zebra species; the common (plains) zebra and the endangered Grevy’s zebra.
With its narrow, closely spaced stripes and large rounded ears, the Grevy’s zebra is unmistakable. In Kenya, its main populations are found across Laikipia, Samburu and Isiolo, with Laikipia holding a significant share of the national population.
Recently, an adult female grevy zebra was found with a snare tightly wrapped around her right hindlimb, leaving an extensive wound. 😪
The KWS Laikipia Mobile Veterinary Unit swiftly responded, immobilised her, removed the wire, thoroughly cleaned and disinfected the wound and administered antibiotics and medication to manage pain and inflammation.
Her wound is showing signs of healthy healing and while her prognosis remains fair, she is now receiving the care she needs.

I’m super conscious that media people, the industry I come from, think it’s extreme to post and focus this much on climate change.
But science says this could potentially be catastrophic for the whole world.
There has never ever been a threat on this scale.
Even nuclear war - climate collapse in a worst case scenario, scientists say, would take significantly longer to recover from, potentially thousands of years.
How can it be that so few media folk understand, care, engage or speak about this?
