Why do we never question if the kid has bad vibes??
Noah Wyle Says Eddie Murphy Told Him to 'F--- Off' When He Was 9 Years Old, So 'The Pitt' Star Always Signs Autographs for Kids Now variety.com/2026/tv/news/noa…
“It’s a remake of The Great Gatsby, Liz, except this time they solve crimes. I play Nicole ‘Nicky’ Carraway, a cop with dreams of becoming a writer”

Ok, but Eddie Murphy telling a 9 year old to fuck off is infinitely funnier.
Noah Wyle says he was 9 years old when Eddie Murphy told him to "f*ck off," so now he always signs autographs for kids.
“I met Eddie once when I was a kid. I asked him for his autograph, and I said, ‘I really like you on ‘SNL.’ And he goes, ‘What are you doing up that late?’ And I said, ‘Can I have your autograph?’ He goes, ‘F*ck off, man.' I always sign an autograph. Whenever a 9-year-old needs an autograph from me, I sign that so fast... last year for my birthday, my daughter didn’t know what to get me. My 10-year-old daughter printed up a picture of Eddie Murphy and then wrote on it, ‘Dear Noah, you’re a great kid, Eddie Murphy.’" (via Good Hang)

Afrophobia is as old as the trans Atlantic salve trade. It’s inherent in Blackness
Imagine my shock reading excerpts of Zora Neale Hurston’s research and seeing enslaved ppl hurl derogatory insults at the latest batch of African slaves

it’s also worth noting how much this attitude slithers its way into electronic music as well.. (white) people heard aphex twin and came up with the subgenre “intelligent dance music”, deeming dance scenes influenced by black musicians as mindless. That is “sonic racism”
