Okay so #StreetFighterMovie was way better than I expected. Delivered exactly what I wanted.
No bludgeoning with “tHe MeSsAgE”, game-accurate costuming and moves, engaging plot. Doesn’t take itself too seriously. It was better than #MortalKombat2 by a long stretch.
Cool. You managed to get a rope snare around the toe of the Tarrasque.
It deals 4d8+10 damage to your noose… and since it’s a siege monster, it deals double damage to objects.
Your rope snaps effortlessly and the monster continues to ravage the city.
My guys typically don’t even bring a cleric. Currently we DO have a dwarven cleric, but he’s a war domain cleric and doesn’t really do much healing. Lots more smashing and bashing and impulsive “warrior-madness” kind of stuff.

Even though “It” is a story about an eldritch horror living beneath a town that’s kind of weirdly okay with it, this was a strange thing to include. Stephen King is a weird dude.
With the #BioWare news, I can’t help but recall the time I submitted an application to write games for them. I was passed over, despite my experience writing for Dungeons & Dragons and other publications. Apparently I skewed “too old” (I was 30).
I turned down a gig with Vigil Games later that same year. They folded in 2013.

Many. Competitive shooting contests, personal-defense, defense of country against enemies foreign and domestic, varmint control, fun and recreation… lots of different reasons to need that.

It’s the kind of juvenile writing that makes Tom King’s writing come across as hollow and inauthentic. For a guy who used to be employed by the CIA, King has no idea how people talk to one another, even in anger.
