Can’t pin this as a highlight without having quoted it, so here’s a second chance for you to learn more about why we founded Arkansas Quant: / Inform fanbases with the complete picture, not just what the headlines sell / Minimize "eye-test" bias / Bring game theory to college athletics. Kiffin and Cignetti are two who actively apply game theory.

They didn't buy blue-chips. They bought proven starters at their position (RT for RT, LT for LT, etc.). 12 of 13 transfers on those 4 lines had a 500+ snap season before the move. Only 1 was a 4-star out of high school. Houston's whole starting five came through the portal. @MGSportsTalk @ashtongrissom8 Ranked on OL group score (pass pro + run game). 2026 thru Week 8.

Effort. Could easily pull together a Spooky merch box with some Nike blackout jerseys for Halloween vs. Missouri. Incremental revenue for Nike at 90% margins and then require them to donate to our NIL for the unplanned incremental revenue. They’d be all about it.

There is a hidden cost when coaches fail to manage their own stress. Your players can see and experience it. A 2017 study found that elite athletes will detect a coach’s stress through changes in communication, behavior, and emotional expression. Most importantly, players perceive stressed coaches as LESS effective leaders. The lesson here isn’t that coaches shouldn’t feel stress. It’s recognizing that how you regulate yourself is a fundamental leadership skill and critical to your overall effectiveness and impact.

The median salary for an admissions officer at UCLA is $74,076. They can now gamble on the admissions rates they govern. 🤪
Kalshi told federal regulators it's putting up betting markets on the admissions rate at top colleges, including @Princeton, @Stanford, @Penn, @DukeU, @UCLA, @WashU and others. This creates new insider trading risks at all these schools. (h/t @DustinGouker)
