🚨Sir Jim Ratcliffe: “We still DON’T have DATA ANALYSIS at Manchester United, all we’ve got is Jason Wilcox’s eyes”
“Jason, for me, is a guy at the coal face. He ran the academy at Manchester City. Txiki Begiristain, I know, thought Jason had the best eyes in the club.”

Jason Wilcox reportedly pushing Russell Martin as a potential Manchester United manager tells you everything about his ambition for this club.
He was seriously considering a manager whose biggest achievement was winning promotion from the Championship, seemingly because of their previous working relationship at Southampton. It suggests Wilcox views Manchester United like a mid-table club, and you can see the consequences of that mentality in where the club finds itself today.
United's recruitment decisions are becoming increasingly difficult to defend.

🔴📰 | Omar Berrada advocated for Jason Wilcox’s promotion to director of football.
Berrada was said to believe Wilcox could be #mufc answer to Txiki Begiristain at Man City, as an executive who would watch training regularly and take the temperature of the squad and coaches.
Many people in football believe Wilcox’s relationship with Berrada was the KEY factor behind him getting a job at United in the first place.
Berrada would say Wilcox has the BEST eye in football to spot players. This is a view shared by some recruitment colleagues.

🚨NEW: A recruitment source on Manchester United’s summer transfer business:
“How can you spend £160million ($215m) on three average midfielders instead of signing just one top-class player who could transform the whole team?”

🚨Reminder that Jason Wilcox reportedly tried to appoint Russell Martin as Manchester United head coach.
Russell Martin is now managing in LEAGUE ONE.
Just imagine where Manchester United could have ended up. How is Jason Wilcox still trusted to make major footballing decisions at this club?!

Jason Wilcox needs to go
His obsession with 'Premier League proven' players is total myth. It just hides the fact he can’t spot talent elsewhere. Brentford & Brighton don’t need PL experience to find gems.
