Two of the biggest highlights for me were @ArrasRestaurant and @TremblingMad pub. Arras w/ a great fine dining experience and killer Aussie wines and Trembling Madness with amazing beers (that Old Ale!) and a brilliant atmosphere. Both highly recommended.

Marriage made in heaven @ArrasRestaurant bakery FANTASTIC baguette paired with Little Italy Deli’s wonderful Mortadella (yes, with pistachios!). So incredibly perfect for each other, more of my favourite places to visit in #York #Yorkshire

We are working hard behind the scenes to get ready for our reopening. We want to put appropriate systems in place to ensure staff and guests safety. Our opening has been pencilled in for late July. We’ll keep you posted!

I once was asked to do a six-hour lecture on The History of British cheese at The International School of Gastronomy in Italy. Tomorrow as part of #BritishCheeseWeekender at 6.30pm I'll be doing a very potted version (30-mins) Tune in on Instagram Live at 6.30pm!

💥Message from us💥 Sadly as the current situation shows no sign abating we have taken the difficult decision to close @ArrasRestaurant as of today, and for the foreseeable future. The care of our staff and our guests is paramount. 1/2
