Sevilla have lost three league games this season and all three were against Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid. Nobody else has beaten them, and nobody else has stopped them scoring 📈
At the Sánchez-Pizjuán they have played four, won two, lost two, and both defeats came to that same pair. The last time they were here the crowd was 41,145 for Barcelona. Tonight is their first home game in 37 days.
Osasuna arrive with one of the worst away records in the division.
Four away games, one win, three defeats, six scored and fifteen conceded. Their last three on the road finished 5-2 at Alavés, 4-0 at Atlético and 5-2 at Betis. That is fourteen goals in three away games 📉
They have kept one clean sheet all season, 2-0 at home to Racing, and it was their first since August.
Osasuna's real problem is in front of goal. They are sixth in La Liga for expected goals per match at 1.59, and they have scored ten goals. They keep arriving in the right places and keep missing.
They come to Sevilla without Herrando at the back, without Aimar Oroz in midfield and without Del Castillo. Three of the names that shape makes sense around.
So Osasuna sit deep and Budimir holds it up alone. Sevilla's two centre-backs can live with that. The game is on the flanks, where Sevilla's wide men will run at full-backs who are already too deep to come out and press.
🎯 Sevilla to win.

Former Aston Villa chief executive Keith Wyness believes Arsenal created a bad look by announcing staff cuts shortly after Mikel Arteta's contract extension 👀
"There'll be a lot of moaning internally about the way it's done. And clubs exist very, very much on the staff.
People don't understand just how valuable these people are within the clubs...
Had it been two or three months apart, the whole thing wouldn't have looked connected."
David Raya’s international team-mate Joan Garcia is the favourite for the men’s goalkeeper of the year award after Joan Garcia enjoyed an outstanding debut season at Barcelona, recording Europe's best save percentage with 77.9%, and winning a LaLiga title.

Piero Hincapie has just returned from injury and could get minutes in the Fleetwood League Cup game to build on his fitness.
Myles Lewis-Skelly should also be available if Hincapie is given another break.
Riccardo Calafiori picked up an injury towards the end of Arsenal's win over Everton, despite Arsenal resting Calafiori from the start of the game and only bringing him on for the last quarter.
Arsenal may play it safe and give him another rest vs. Fleetwood Town in midweek.
Mikel Arteta could make as many as EIGHT changes to Arsenal's starting lineup for the Carabao Cup fourth-round fixture against Fleetwood Town, allowing rest for key players ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash against Liverpool.
Liverpool have lost one of their last 13 home games against Brighton in all competitions, and they have won each of the last four at Anfield. The last two here finished 2-0 and 3-0.
Brighton come without Kaoru Mitoma, who is out with a hamstring injury. Yankuba Minteh, Mats Wieffer and Pascal Struijk are out with him.
They have also been to Czechia and back. Thursday night in Jablonec finished 0-0, eight changes made to get through it, and the flight home before this. Hurzeler names the same eleven that started last weekend.
Then look at what they do away from home. Brighton have conceded 4 goals in 3 away league games this season, and 4 of the 5 they have let in all season have come on the road 📉
Alexander Isak is the problem for them. Five goals in his last five Premier League games, the same as he managed in his previous 20 for Newcastle and Liverpool put together, and he has not been on the losing side in any of his last 15 league appearances 📈
Florian Wirtz keeps finding him. He has created more chances than any player in the Premier League this season, 20 of them and 18 from open play, and seven of his eight Liverpool goals have come at Anfield.
Brighton will try to play out from the back. Everything goes through Groß, Andrés sits next to him in midfield, and Boscagli shifts across to left-back.
Liverpool's press is what breaks that. They give away 13.9 fouls a game, second most in the league, because they are on you high up the pitch, and Barcola and Gakpo will be on the two full-backs all afternoon.
🎯 Liverpool to win.

Both Arsenal central defenders, Gabriel and Ezri Konsa, scored against Everton, marking the first time two Arsenal center-backs found the net in the same league game since February 2024, when Gabriel and William Saliba scored against West Ham ✅
Arsenal's medical staff will monitor Gabriel Magalhaes' condition over the coming days to assess any lasting damage from his awkward stretch during the Everton match.
Paul Merson singled out Martin Odegaard as outstanding and Arsenal’s most important player ✅
"I thought Odegaard was outstanding, if you had to pick someone.
He just ticks it all over, he’s so comfortable, he’s got a great left foot, he’s just a nice, nice player.
When he’s in the mood and he has been in the mood this season, his confidence has been high, he’s been the one for me.
Even then Bruno Guimaraes comes on and plays some lovely little balls. They’re squad is massive."
Paul Merson expressed hope that Noni Madueke will gain confidence with more playing time despite missing a chance against Everton:
"Madueke probably should have done better with one chance where he dragged it, but the longer he plays in the team, the more confidence he’ll get.
He needs to play week in, week out. It’s hard for wingers because you either get so much of the ball that you don’t want it anymore or you never get the ball. "
No striker consistently performs well (besides maybe Haaland) against Gabriel...but Gabriel has just made it impossible all night for Thierno Barry to get a sniff
Don't think i've ever seen Barry play this bad
