Favorite shot of the trip! The last reef shark we tagged moments after it’s release 🦈 I followed this guy for a few minutes after and while most sharks swam away quickly, this guy was curious and kept turning back and checking me out! Epic end to the trip 🤙
Our @beneaththewaves research vessel for a week in the Bahamas 🙉 The Bahamas was declared a shark sanctuary in 2011 and we are here to study the health of the shark population here and how they use the sanctuary throughout the year 🤟🦈
Excited to share the first photo from an unbelievable shark research expedition with @beneaththewaves in the Bahamas last week. We tagged 30 sharks in total representing 6 different species! This one is a Caribbean Reef Shark shortly after being tagged and released 🦈🤙
