Another atlas photo, I used the Hubble palate for this one, 95min exposure, I think this was a twin tube exposure so to get same result with my single tube we are probably around 140 min
Heart nebula, Vaonis Atlas, processed with astroeditor and photomator on iPad, all this data is stunning imho, this telescope will be fun, arrives in March 🚀🏁
This is a unmodified output of AstroEditor conversion to hoo of the Atlas wizard nebula pic, still learning settings of that program but it’s promising for people not in to heavy processing
This is not my photo but was taken with a telescope I want called atlas, all I did was stretch the raw file on my iPad and turned up vibrancy some, very little noise and ultra sharp…impressive I thought since no real processing was involved.

The specs were 68min exposure 30sec subs ,single ota, dual band filter
Putting on my @Vaonis_fr shirt to celebrate their 10th anniversary, Happy Anniversary🔭, now just need to go get some French wine 😂🏁
Tomorrow Vaonis will be introducing their new astrophotography system, I’m excited to see what they have come up with, December marks my 6th year of using their Vespera smart scope so I’m a big fan of the company. Live stream starts at noon on Thursday youtube.com/watch?v=JXidpuGJ…
You usually only see astrophotographers share individual components of the Cygnus loop complex because it is so large. It was created by a massive star explosion at its center about 20,000 years ago, if you were traveling at the speed of light it would take you 130 years to go from one side to the other. From our perspective it’s about 6 times the diameter of the full moon and it still rapidly expanding
Helix nebula last night, I had intended to do a mix of the baader neodymium filter and a dual band but apparently the multi-night feature in vespera does not allow that, so this image is 100% neodymium , Vespera Classic, iPad only processing.
If your up Tuesday morning, look south/southeast near the horizon, should be a good opportunity to see the sun hit the plume of a SpaceX launch that will go up the east coast. It really is a nice show. Launch time is 633am, should become visible a few minutes later, forecast is clear

A failed experiment kinda, used my broadband neodymium filter instead of a dual band, and shortened subs to 8 sec 27db, it did not capture hardly any of the nebulosity available on these targets, bubble just barely visible. Was still fun to do though, Vespera classic

Atlas, Chapter 4: The optics come to light, and light comes to them.
Yet everything we’ve shown you so far tells only half the story.
