How I perform database refactors in 2026:
- Dashboard is easy to verify but API is harder
- We store all API request history.
- We run every API request from the past 6 months, with both data models, and verify the output is exactly the same

Delegating all of your thinking to AI will make you dumb and your outcomes will always be average. Use it as an assistant whilst continuing to use of your brain. Failing to do so guarantees atrophy of neural networks. Look at what happens to your body when you don't exercise.

My prediction was that routes/web.php would be the clear winner (although I do use routes/webhooks.php myself). So this was interesting to see!

I'm planning new articles. But I'm mindful of the fact that AI/agents have made my older, existing "How to do X in Y" style tutorials sort of redundant.
So I want to see what types of things people are interested in reading about.
