Having been past the scene to see for myself the aftermath, what will the government do about yet another incident?
They’ll send their condolences to the family and friends of those affected, condemn the actions of the attackers… and that’s it. Nothing will change. Disgraceful.

Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to play at a decent level, without the pressure you get at some of the bigger clubs in the area. You may even make the TikTok👀 – at Houghton, England

As we remembered the sad passing of club legend Rob Anderson from the start of the month, there was a memorable game at the HWCG yesterday.
A final wicket partnership of 43 allowed @southillcricket to scrape over the line, despite @Pucks_98’s magical 6-wicket hall.
Thanks SPCC!

A brilliant game played in excellent spirit from all saw us sneak home versus @SawtryCricket.
Matt Burgess batted through for a great 107* but running out of partners proved fatal as 252 wasn’t enough. Scott’s deserved ton fell six short, but a match winning innings nonetheless!
Sabotaging a garden in protest of the use of oil and fossil fuels is like an animal activist protesting the rearing of animals for consumption by sacrificing a small goat.
How the hell do these clowns think their methods are the way to go?

We get over the line in an excellent, low scoring contest against @SawtryCricket.
Several contributions may seem key in such a tight affair, but ultimately to win a game of fine margins such as that takes the effort of all eleven.
We look forward to the replay already! – at East, England

An excellent effort from @GoddyCricket to get 246-7 in reply thanks to Matt Luck’s 58 and James Pater’s 45.
Thanks for the well-spirited game Goddy!👏🏼
