Toen ik als jonge vrouw in Amsterdam woonde en daar uitging fietste ik zonder problemen midden in de nacht alleen naar de pont. Zou het in het oh zo objectieve en pluriforme epos over Femke Halsema dat binnenkort uitkomt ook gaan over deze cultuurverandering? Want het is toch wel oppvallend: terwijl mijn vriendinnen en ik in het donker door de stad fietsen waakten verschillende burgervaders over ons. Nu, onder het toeziend oog van Halsema hebben de meisjes een buddy nodig om nog veilig thuis te komen. Maar ja hoor, het is een 'mannenprobleem'.

Lee Jae-myung has multiple criminal convictions and should be standing trial on several charges, including illegal cash transfers to North Korea. But through his dictatorship, he has put his own trials on hold.

These are the Three Whale Rocks (Hin Sam Wan) in northeastern Thailand, a 75 million year old sandstone formation that, from above, looks exactly like a family of whales swimming through a sea of trees.
Located on a cliff in Phu Sing Forest Park, the three giant rocks are known as the father, mother, and baby whale. Over millions of years, wind, rain, and erosion sculpted them into their astonishing whale-like shapes. From the top, visitors can see endless forest, the Mekong River, and even the mountains of Laos on a clear day.
