I've always believed that no child should have to learn on an empty stomach, and when you hear directly from schools already providing free meals to every student, you get a better sense of what's possible and what it takes to make sure our children are ready to learn.

Yesterday was a major step towards a fairer housing market here in NJ! Proud to stand next to Gov. Sherrill as she signed the FAIR Act, a landmark legislation that regulates the practice of algorithmic rent-setting. Together, we’re making NJ more affordable for working families!

The FAIR Act, sponsored by Assembly members @AswLopez, Donlon, Onyema, and @katiebrennan_32 has been signed into law today. The law prohibits the use of algorithmic rent-setting practices that can coordinate prices across competing landlords & contribute to rising housing costs.
