Cheadle Atlas

Atlas hit the big-time! 🙌 Having designed a snazzy football shirt for @RoughTradeBooks, our talented secretary got the chance to attend a book launch in London hosted by @IanWright0 and @Okwonga ⚽ Many thanks to Ian for the photo! There's a space for you upfront anytime! 💚

RESULT:- 0: Stockport Dynamos 9: Cheadle Atlas (Yes, we now only tweet when we win...) Two early red cards gave Dynamos an uphill battle. Nice to get a big win after some bad defeats recently. Hat-tricks for both Rob & Deans, with Seb, Andy and Ben chipping in. #UTA 🧡💚

FIXTURE:- Tomorrow morning we host last week's opponents, but don't have anyone to ref it! Please get in touch if you're available! @StockportRefs @CCFARefs 📅 Sunday 16th October 🆚 Astbury FC 🌏 Adswood Park, Cheadle ⏱️ 10:45am KO

RESULT:- 3 - Astbury FC 0 - Cheadle Atlas FC Battled really well for 70 minutes and was let down by a poor offside decision which broke the deadlock in favour of the home side. Conceded two more after. Not great but we go again next week. #footie

FIXTURE:- We're on the road! For a team that struggles to arrive on time for home matches, an away trip to Congleton should be interesting... 🆚 Astbury FC 📅 Sunday 9th October 🌏 Back Lane Playing Fields CW12 4PY ⏱️ 10:45am KO #UTA 💚🧡

FIXTURE:- Football is happening. 📅 Sunday 25th September 🆚 Sands United FC 🌏 Adswood Park, Cheadle ⏰ 10:45am #UTA 💚😎

RESULT:- 7 - Avondale Albion 1 - Cheadle Atlas Tough morning. Played some good football and scored a lovely goal, but we were always going to struggle playing with only 10 men for the first half hour, and then a bare 11 for the rest of the game. Players needed!!!

FIXTURE:- It's the North East Cheshire District FA Sunday Trophy tomorrow (catchy!). It'll be a tough game against a Div 2 team, but we'll give it a good go 👍... 📅 Sunday 18th September 🆚 @AvondaleAlbion 🌏 Prior Park, SK3 8LQ ⏱️ 10:45am KO

RESULT:- 4 - Cheadle Hulme Albion 2 - Cheadle Atlas Struggled to play our football and were punished. If our penalty was converted, it might have been a different game. Good to see us fight till the end and grab two goals even at 4-0 down. Both goals from Victor ⚽⚽

FIXTURE:- It's a double header this week. Tomorrow evening, we're off to Scholes Park to face @CHAlbion hoping to maintain that sweet sweet 100% win record 💚 On Sunday, it's back to Adswood Park to face @lmsfcofficial who have recently, and very rudely, stolen our top spot 👀

RESULT:- 8 - Cheadle Atlas 2 - Cheadle Hulme Rovers What a start! Superb performances from everyone to record our biggest ever win. Atlas are top of the league 💯! Goals: Baxter (x3), Deans (X2), Mikey, Hesh, and Pablo 💚⚽ @CHRFC_ thanks and good luck for the season ✌️

FIXTURE:- First league game back baby. We're the away team, but we're playing at our home pitch. Isn't that mad?! Glad to share our poor excuse for a "pitch" that is Adswood Park with another team for the season... 📅 Sunday 4th September 🆚 @CHRFC_ ⏱️ 10:45am KO #Green

We're back! 💚☀️ Friendly result:- 1 - Birchfield Phoenix FC 1 - Cheadle Atlas FC Hot conditions today but kept going to snatch an equaliser with 10 minutes remaining. A tidy performance after a long time away from the game. Goal from Mikey ⚽. Thanks @BPFC_17 👍

The start of our third season is fast approaching. It's time to find our shin pads, clean our boots and set our Sunday alarms. ⏰ We're preparing for 22/23 with friendlies against:- @CGFCEagles @RichmondROAFC @SDFC91 Up The Atlas 💚

FIXTURE:- The final game of the season has arrived! Hoping we can add another three points before a well deserved break 💪💚 📆 Sunday 8th May 🆚 @offertonparkfc 🌎 Half Moon Lane ⏱️ 10:45am KO #UTA

RESULT:- 1 - AFC Stockport 5 - Cheadle Atlas FC A much improved result this time around! Feels good to end on a big result like this as we approach our final game. MOTM to Andy for putting in some versatile performances at centre half recently 🙌💚 #UTA #onetogo

FIXTURE:- We have a football game scheduled. Hope we score more goals than the other team. 📆 Sunday 1st May 🆚 @AFC_Stockport 🌎 Whitehill St, Stockport ⏱️ 10:45am KO #soccer

RESULT:- 3 - Sands United FC 2 - Cheadle Atlas FC An eventful first half with all of the goals coming in the first 45 minutes. Fair play to the lads for getting down there after-work and putting in a great shift. Only two more to go! Goals from Massey and Murphy! 👶💚 #UTA

FIXTURE:- Looking forward to the last midweek game of the season "under the lights" at Wythenshawe Town's ground this evening. Should be a good one 🙌. 📆 Tuesday 26th April 🆚 @SufcStockport 🌎 Wythenshawe Town FC ⏱️ 6:15pm Kick Off 💚 #UTA

RESULT:- 3 - Cheadle Atlas FC 3 - AFC Stockport FC A tough game yesterday in the windy and bobbly conditions. Bad defending to go 3-1 down, but battled back to snatch a point. We stay above Rangers in the table with three games to play... Thanks for the pics 📸 @AFC_Stockport
