"He controls the game. You have to do certain things against him because he'll just kill you. There could be a neutral shift but somehow he gets the puck and he gets in the zone and now all of a sudden they're set up their offense. Spectacular player." -flyers coach about quinn-

Boldy awkwardly standing there as McCarron (aka Big Sexy) is trying to give his post game interview. I genuinely had to double take when I saw they were together. Petition to have players do their post game interviews together. I just know there would be a ton of funny moments.

Maybe I shouldn't complain...The Montreal Canadiens just blew a 4-0 lead (in the 3rd period) and lost in OT... I will shut up.

I'm glad we won this game but why is it that as soon as we have a decent lead, the Wild decide to stop shooting on net... I'd love for us to get a 2-3 goal lead and keep it if possible. #mnwild

Wild have led for a league-high 545:54 this season, almost 80 minutes more than the next team

Wally: We're a close team, we spend a lot of time together...We mesh well together as a team, everyone likes each other and that makes the road easier. We are like a big family out here...That is what has made us successful on the road. Minnesota Wild is a family, confirmed 💚

I hope Wally knows that if it were up to us he'd be getting the helmet every other game. He's such a big reason why the Wild are 2nd in the league right now. He's being overworked with Gus out, but he's taking it on the chin and still performing at an elite level. What a player!

Great quote from Wallstedt (10 wins, 15 of 17 games started) on how funny it is that he finally got the Hero of the Game helmet tonight: "I don't care too much about it. As long as we win, I'm more than happy with that. It's a good thing. As long as we can give out the bucket, that's a good sign."

Pushing its record to 11-3-3 with tonight's win in Philly, the #mnwild leads the Western Conference and ranks second in the NHL with 25 points this season. Minnesota also leads the NHL with 16 points (7-3-2) on the road, having now won five consecutive games away from St. Paul.

Brock Faber is healthy and has cleared return to play protocol. Once he is in hockey shape again, he'll be back in the Minnesota Wild lineup, per @RussoHockey (who got his info directly from John Hynes).

We know a thing or two about long winter nights. Inspired by the beauty of Minnesota’s northern wilderness, the North Star, and the northern lights, our newest threads represent the Fabric of Minnesota. This is our Hometown Remix. We Own the Night.

#OTD 67 years ago, Jacques Plante changed NHL history forever. After taking a shot to the face that broke his nose, Plante refused to return to the ice without a protective mask, becoming the first goalie in NHL history to wear one during a game and paving the way for a new era of goaltender safety. 👏
